Boat in second link looks like an excellent project. Not very old with a decent engine. Not clear what caused the flooding but as a "sail away" its worth a bit even if there is quite a lot of waste disposal to do.
I wonder what caused the flooding ?

I was thinking a weed hatch not sealed maybe? I will wait for the inside pics to be posted and have a look and give them a ring or contact them to get a viewing..

THE PARTIAL FLOOD WAS CAUSED WHEN THE CANAL LEVEL WENT DOWN WHEN THE BOAT WAS MOORED OVER A SILL. SHE TILTED TO ABOUT 45 DEGREES AND TOOK WATER ON BOARD FIRST THROUGH THE SIDE APERTURES AND VENTS. SHE HAS BEEN AFLOAT FOR SOME WEEKS NOW AND SHOWING NO SIGNS OF WATER INGRESS. AT ONLY 9 YEARS OLD THE HULL WILL BE ALMOST AS NEW.
If u scroll down to the end of the description on boat 2 above statement seems to answer the partial flood cause. Interesting to see internal pics...at 2009 not an old boat...but I didn't see if she'd ever been blacked...worth a look...sellers number listed as well

Cilled and sunk in a lock?
Or hooked up on the bank on a flooded river maybe?
Seems a bit improbable on the cut although I did hear of this happening where there were some concrete blocks at the side and the level dropped causing a boat to roll over a bit and take water in through low level vents.
Its a bit unusual for more modern boats to have vents below gunnels - they are usually associated with 1970s Lister air cooled powered narrow boats.
Could be a decent boat I reckon it'll get good money.
