That green armchair has to go to the skip. Is there a stove? Central heating is a bit sterile and boring, and always going wrong. Armchair yes, no stove - but possibly could install one - would give it one winter to decide How many boats called 'Poppy'? You'd have to change the name to something like 'Black Lung' Renaming is a very distinct possibility, although a friends daughter is named Poppy and she is lovely... Any shower curtain? Bath is weird - how can you lie in that? Would need some work but hopefully something I could do myself... But then it's got one of those daft back ends (NOT cruiser stern) so you will drop into the canal and there's no room for a friend to stand beside you. Has a large hatch so maybe possible to get two people or one and a mutt - most boats I'm looking at are Semi Trad, Cruiser Sterns are ruled out unless there seems a way of enclosing them to stop the mutt from jumping off at every bridgehole...

Yes. You need to manage them. I keep them indoors whist doing locks etc, but when I tie up for the night, then I let them roam. A couple of noisy bells on their collar gives the local fauna a chance.
