So getting up early and rushing about on a day that was really windy, was worth while wasn't it.

"Be attended to" and "get fixed" are obviously two very different animals.

I reckon we won't get above Bingley rises tomorrow, especially as I want to nip into Keighley by foot tomorrow. B&Q - want a new kitchen mat.
We told someone today that we spent all day in Leeds yesterday. She asked what did you do there and I said I bought some new underpants from Marks and Spencer's.

pity we cannot link a 'red hot alarm' straight to CRT to keep them advised on situations they may or may not chose to respond to.... enjoy your trip...be it but rail or boat.

WHAt we need is a "bat phone" - ... in fact, Andy's rather keen on Lycra so if someone would volunteer to make us batman and robin costumes, we come become first responders for crt... we may as well, given that whatever direction we try to head in , something breaks.

Just looked CRT's Stoppages list - this bridge isn't marked up. Poor information communication. That's because swing bridges breaking down on that section is almost a daily occurrence.

It's probably broke, because someone's been following Naughty Cal's instructions on how to operate a swing bridge

Richard Parry came round to offer us all coffee and cake, which I thought was a nice touch. I doubt that some how. You will be there until at least early afternoon, unless it's something serious then it could be Monday.

You could go and complain to the waterways manager directly as his office is up at Dobson lock.
