My granddaughters are aged 4 and 7. They regularly read boating forums as they are especially interested in tiller bearings, water pumps, and murdering prostitutes.
My daughters are 6 and 8 and they have been exposed to the f and c words since birth. Main example being while in the car waiting for an idiot to work out what to do they get papa (me) saying "when will this fucking cunt deal with it?"
Funny thing is that they will come out with swear expressions but very rarely. They are very polite kids and they know that this swearing lark is not something to indulge in all the time.
I was brought up as a small child knowing what swearing was but not being "allowed" to swear. And now I swear like a trooper.
I bet my kids listening to that will end up swearing a whole lot less than I do. Their mums the same except she swears in French and Arabic.
I intensely dislike the use of the C word, yet I swear as well as the next man..Happy to accept its a free world though. I just blot out the parts I don’t like. Carry on swearing, as Sid would have said.

JohnV: There are other drugs but I haven't found the side effects with Ramipril to be bad, it seems to just make my throat a bit more sensitive so things that might have just tickled my throat and make me want to clear it now make me cough.
