My memories of the 80s is there was only the base at Alvechurch. Run by Colonel Fabricius and his wife. My in-laws got on well with them and likened to handover procedure to being marched in or out of Army hirings rather than the laizzie faire attitude of later hirings. Al Harris was technical manager.
In 1990 we hired from their base at Gayton for 3 weeks and cruised down to Limehouse and then up the Thames and back to Gayton. Can't recall who was running the Gayton base but not a patch on Alvechurch. Or when they took it over.

JohnV: There are other drugs but I haven't found the side effects with Ramipril to be bad, it seems to just make my throat a bit more sensitive so things that might have just tickled my throat and make me want to clear it now make me cough.

loddon: The cough is the only one I get from ramipril, although the combinatins of drugs I am on has interesting effects.
