What was actually 'wrong' with the design? Not having watched the programme myself. Looks a bit like an American church - corrugated iron? And prone to the wind.

Regarding it looking like a church, that is what it was known as when it was moored in Hadleigh Ray for a few years. It actually was a handy mark for navigating the Ray, quite missed it when it eventually broke free and ended up on the foreshore in Southend. |

About as pointless as an eco fan eco as in that church-boat = ecosystem-friendly eco as in fan = economical (although where that comes from I don't know, we burn the same amount of wood and coal whether it's on top of the stove or not). |
