Well maiden voyage planned for next weekend 10 or 11th Nov. If any TB's are available/wish to assist let me know. Alternatively if you just want to meet up for a drink in Northampton let me know and I'll try to arrange a suitable (...) place. If everyone is busy, don't worry, there are people here on the marina that are more than happy to help out. Accom available on dinette and sofa if needed.

I'm out of the country next weekend. Phipps Brewery tap in Northampton is a good place for a beer.

SAFE is still safely aboard as it is an integral part of the boat. Removal would entail the use of as gas axe Phil You could of course use an electric drill with a grinding disc attachment Foxy could possibly lend you his, and maybe even do it for you if he's not too busy doing another oil-change. Peter.

Removal would entail the use of as gas axe Phil a 'gas axe?'..that sounds most exciting.. meanwhile i trot off to store with crowbars, metal stakes, sledge hammers, Ants perang knife, dads ancient antique front loader gun and I just wonder what the boys in blue would say if got stopped.Maybe something like :"Please don't hit or shoot us, we've got families, just continue your route, we've forgotten what you look like already" Possibly accompanied by a smell of a couple of guys in blue that lost control of the muscles somewhere near where their legs start . Peter.

Peter. Well I don't really need crowbars, metal stakes(living in Horror House I had to be prepared) or sledge hammers anymore.. Dad always wanted to put his gun on display ..boys in blue said that was OK as its age in excess 100 years but mum said no Woman rule.. Im hoping to finally get it on display

I am also, sadly, 'abroad' next weekend. That doesn't mean I've turned transgender!!!
