As regards CWDF filtering out "sock puppets", I doubt that would be possible. They would probably find it easy enough to block the technological incompetent (such as myself) but there are many, very competent members here. If "clues" are given here then it would be very strange if the mods there (who seem to find this forum compulsive reading), don't take action. can i just make one thing clear here, the mods have no privilages to modify, ban or block IP's, it can only be done via dan or rich the tech guy. the only thing the mod's can do is pass on your IP info if they suspect anything untowardt.

Would you two mind getting a room? Listening (reading) your mating rituals is getting a bit tedious. You know the answer, don't read the posts. By the way what are you doing still posting on this "dung heap"

'Another poster' suggests mjg's constant swearing belittles himself, and tarnishes this forum. I'd suggest he goes back through all of his posts, and puts 50p into a big jar for each uncouth word he finds. This amount could be sent to a charity, such as the RSPCA or the one that looks after injured hedgehogs. I bet it's well over £900 by now. I think you misunderstand. i wasn't refering to anything I have posted.

I know some of us do, but mjg does seem to swear just because he can.

Constantly using profanity is unnecessary. It makes you appear puerile, and, more importantly, it reflects badly on the forum. Quite a few people have stated that they avoid this forum because of the language that is used here. Whilst there is a time and a place for profanity, that time and place is not in the majority of your posts. Almost anyone with a third grade education can figure out how to spell F-U-K, but it takes a modicum of intelligence and self-awareness to use the word wisely and for maximum effect.

I tend to do it without swearing, if you bother to read the thread your posting in. But just for you fuck off.

It's nice to know I can pull your strings any time I want with little effort at all. Are you going to start stalking me now too? I hope so because being your puppet master will surely bring some comedic relief. Ready, set - watch what happens when I pull this string.....

I enjoy most of the threads on here but...there are some where personal vendettas are just sweary & downright rude. Not sure why some peeps have to "fight" each other.Shame,as most threads are really interesting.

I agree in part although Kris does tend to trump the argument, simply on the grounds that he does actually have a boat.

This is the problem here and why things escalate so quickly, we were being perfectly civil to each other just a moment ago and you then come up with a snide pathetic comment like that. And people wonder why I feel it's ok to refer to folk like you as complete fuckwits.

I'd be the first to agree that narrowboaters and caravanning pikeys are equally welcome here.
