I don't think you are brave enough to walk into a own Hall and say "CRT have removed the Elsan disposal point and I have a cassette full of faeces here, where am I supposed to dump it?" Although, hang on a moment, why are you even on about closed Elsan points... what happened with the composting idea? I often temper my criticism of CRT with Stabby's mention of how much you'd pay in domestic water rates if you were to use 190,000 gallons as is to be found in just the Tuel Lane lock; it's not always easy to say are boat licences expensive or cheap or, indeed, fair. It depends on who is the service provider. When the Showers were shut at Peterborough my brother went banging on the EA’s door at Aqua House in the city, they gleefully informed him it was nothing to do with them and he should take it up with PCC at their one stop shop the other end of the road. He marches off up to the one stop shop, gets all revved up and annoyed only to be told hard lines - no money for the up keep of the facility so he’ll have to go swimming or stink! Rushden and Diamond FC pulled the same trick when they shut the S106 facilities they were obliged to provide for boaters at Irthlingborough - shortly after they went down the pan.

Who opened your box? What's that funny smell? What have you got in that box with you? Sorry, I know it's off topic, but that is a terrific film. Rog

Talking of Northamptonshire, here's from the latest edition of Private Eye: Mrs Gazza has a good friend who is a social worker for NCC - she says all the above comes under “No Shit Sherlock 🕵️♀️”
