Foxy is generalising. I hope he doesn't mind me putting words into his mouth but I think this is the gist of his thinking: Remainers tend to have jobs where they don't compete with cheap imported labour. So, in a growing economy their wages rise, due to the law of supply and demand. Kerching! Meanwhile the other 50% or so of the population (Brexiteers) tend to have jobs where they are likely to be working alongside Poles, Lithuanians etc. Foreign workers are happy to work for lower wages than Brits therefore the tendency is to depress wages in these sectors. This is a double kerching! for remainers, as they can go and have their posh meals etc. at a relatively low prices, as the foreigners and Brexiteers working there are paid a pittance.

Jim its the remainers that are making us a laughing stock! Us brexiteers would have started prep 2 years ago to leave, whereas you lot have spent 2 years trying to stop it right, bunch of wankers you lot are FFS! The most prominent Brexiters immediately made themselves scarce after the vote, and have come up with no practical suggestions on how to proceed. I have not noticed any Brexit supporting MPs asking questions about recruitment of Customs officers, increasing the Fisheries Protection fleet or building new motorways for "Operation Stack".

as the main topic seems to be the job market maybe retired people should not be allowed to vote. Ironically children are not allowed to vote but it is they who will feel the effects in their adult life.
So what about a second referendum where the only people allowed to vote are those in work or in further education of some sort.
Sorted.

Which part of "democracy" says people can't change their minds and vote again. Especially when they see the facts. It happens all the time. And utterly neccesary if our great leaders can't come to a decision when a workable deal is on the table. The bit of democracy I don't understand is the bit that says that a decision made in ignorance of the facts or consequences , and based on lies and spin, must stand, and that a decision made with better information available is not democratic. Also, women are allowed to vote, so that fucks everything up even more!

No-one (apart from me!) has mentioned that it was rather unfair that BRITS living abroad were not allowed to vote. Why not?

The ‘people’ haven’t changed their mind! Our politicians are failing to deliver what the majority voted for. The only fact which has come out of this, is that our government is failing democracy. If the people haven't changed their mind, why are so many who voted out against a second referendum, to demonstrate that "the will of he people" was nt a freak result? Funnily enough I’m not worried about a second referendum if we had one (other than it wasting even more time sorting this mess out). The Brexit vote would go through again with an even bigger majority, it will finally shut up those who have slowed the process down for the last 2 years. The remainers who can’t accept a democratic result have caused this mess, not the majority who voted out.

What does it mean to Theresa May if she has to 'resign' (choreographed, you can just bet!); her husband is filthy rich from backhanders by firms he's helped to avoid paying more tax than absolutely necessary, so she's hardly likely to have to go diving in bins for her evening meals, is she? Plus her own salary, Golden Handshake, and fat pension. Both are a couple of traitors to the country and should be burned at the stake. Bring sausages.

Whilst I can’t agree with all of your sentiments Foxy (I’m not keen on sausages), it has to be said that there are very few politicians who would put their neck on the line for this country. It’s clear money/personal power is still driving everything. Things only really start to happen throughout history when fear becomes a bigger factor than money. That’s why riots have an effect. Can you imagine the public outcry there would be if democracy was overturned in this country? That is a far bigger issue than staying in or leaving the European State.

Currently out in the Canaries and it’s lovely but the sausages aren’t to my taste. Proper beer and sausages are waiting at home for me 😀

There is a strong case for him to be held to account somehow I reckon. Short term individual gain. A bit like thatcher doing the right to buy to get votes from people who would not normally vote Tory. They know all the tricks these buggers. He knew exactly what he was doing the only aim was to pull in voters. Finger on the pulse job (From 2013) www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-21148282

I'm surprised the Houses of Commons and 'Lords' (cunts) haven't been stormed yet. Apart from Rees-Mogg (crazy name, crazy guy??!!)(although he's a Catholic = religious nutter = deceived), I can't think of a single 'politician' worth retaining. Britain needs a damned good shake-up, which is why I think a civil war is the only way to go now. Good old clearout of all the illegal immigrants, and all fat, lazy benefit scroungers. Push them off Beachy Head if a rusty old ship is deemed too expensive. Of course, there's the 'vacuum needs to filled' and you come back to the same old sleaze, but with 50% of the current population Britain stands a chance of getting back on track. Yes, this was the nation that produced inventors and innovators, acceptable conditions for workers, railways and public hygiene, and the Industrial Revolution. Nowadays it's all Multicultural stabbings with Politically Correct TV shows and adverts (Muslims gathered round the Christmas tree ffs!). I think the UK needs a good dictator for a few years to extricate itself from the mire. Brits are clever, but they're being held back by sexual deviants and corrupt politicians. Look at that Holly woman -
"Holly Willoughby splashes out on £19,000 air ticket - dubbed 'a penthouse in the sky' - with three rooms, butler and private chef to fly home from the jungle in style"
19 thousand fucking Pounds for a nobody??!! With ex-servicemen sleeping rough on the streets??!!
