why is this in the politics section? For the record in case it was about me I have never possessed a train set of any sort in my life and do not intend to. We did once get given a wooden thing for tje children I think it was a tesco one but all I could do was look at the wooden bits of track and think what nice kindling it would make. WTF..are you still alive Mr Beeching?

Its OK I like trains. Was on one today. They have a marvellous enabling effect when it comes to pleasure boating.

As promised - me and my train set, 1965 (aged 4). The one not wearing the fireman's hat: I used to put Jelly babies on the track and run them over!
