.... that we inhabit a country that possesses somewhat unsettled conditions most of the time. ! The Global Warning situation seems to be altering this. Britain is becoming a country of warm settled sunny conditions. Or is this my rose (and beer) tinted memory of summer ?

And you have to dodge the polar bears crouching on blocks of ice on the River Thames because of 'Climate Change'. I blame Sadiq Khan jetting off to South America on his freebie. "Does my bum look big on this?"

No need to miss them, just hit them like the tourists do. A bit harsh, calling Mr Stabby a tourist.

Morning Jeez. Would you care for a chocolate bunny? Here, lie down on these 2 comfy planks while you scoff it. Stop wriggling while I get the nails in, chill, you'll have an excellent view over your house in a mo, shame you wont have a free hand to wave at your mum.

Soon it will be obvious that there are no treatments other than toxic, lethal injections, which are to be regularly administered whether or not an individual has anything wrong with them. The message is crystal clear. If you want to live, do not use the NHS. Remember - Astra Zeneca and Pfizer are not liable for any 'Covid vaccine' injuries or deaths. You signed your rights away. They can be injecting you with rat's piss for all you know.

Will you be joining the Eco-Nuts climbing Dartford Bridge in your effort to stamp out 'particulates pollution'?
Now... don't tell me you have a 'solid fuel' stove in your boat...! Oh... you're not using it anymore? That's alright, then!

Hi All,
I have ended up with another boat with an inboard Yanmar 1GM10 that unfortunately is not starting. I was wondering if Andrew or any other member can recommend a mobile mechanic? I am based back at Chiswick on the Thames.
TIA.
Kind regards, Paul.

Hi Paul, long time no see. There's a Faceache group which is designed to put boaters in touch with professional bods predominantly like mechanics in the London area, read the description. You have to request membership to see posts but it's reasonably friendly. www.facebook.com/groups/1852690294837874/Nice and simple engine that Yanmar, the issue is probably fuel-related. Have a look and see what goop is in the tank, perhaps with a view to emptying and cleaning it. Maybe discard whatever is in it if it's only a bit. This could save time when paying by the hour! Good luck. ETA If you feel brave try disconnecting the feed from the tank to the engine. If water comes out let it drain (into a handy receptacle) till diesel comes out. If the diesel is cloudy and not resembling cherry cola then it's probably contaminated.

I have changed all the filters and the tank was cleaned and fresh fuel added and it has been bled. The first time I turned it over it sounded like there was no compression. I was at a yard for a short time and the guys said it could be stuck valves so they sprayed some wd40 into the air intake, I think. it now sounds like there is some compression. They didn't have time to look at it, so now I am on the look out for a mechanic. I will check out the FB group. Cheers, Paul.
