No. I have only seen Valeo wiper blades and from the shops that sell them have deducted that they are not as good as Bosch blades (which are excellent in my opinion). I think some fool at Mazda put Valeos on my car once, and they were really not up to scratch. "Funnily enough, I was standing in a branch of Halfords on Monday, looking at the prices of Bosch wiper blades while my Honda Accord was in for a service when my mobile rang. It was the dealer, pointing out that my car needed... yes, you've guessed it. Unless I made a miscalculation in haste, the price he charged me for three new Honda (Valeo, I presume) blades wasn't much different from the cost of new Bosch ones. Bosch are better, as I've proved in the past, but I caved-in and let this one go for the sake of sheer convenience."

Bosch are probably rebadged Valeo wiper-blades , but because lots of people like to be fooled they'll buy those. Valeo is an enormous business that supplies serveral car factories with their first installation parts, and also makes lots of after-market part for all kinds of cars. www.valeoservice.com/en-comWhy do you want to buy Bosch ? I thought you hated the Germans. Peter.

Not all Germans, just those who would wish to dominate me, and those who are systematically taking over Britain by stealth (Arriva with their shitty bus and dirty train services - yet expensive - and Northern, for example).
I disagree, I think, from my experience, that Bosch blades are not Valeo. German products, such as tools and cameras, have a well-earned reputation for quality. By the way, at Sandwell & Dudley railway station I met a very pleasant, chatty, straight-to-the point Indian, guardian of Platform 2. Not at all slimy. So, you see, I am not all negative.

I'm afraid that there's not all that much left for us to decide on, they decide for us, with or without asking what we think about it. They call that something like "politics", it's all rather smelly, and possibly even slimy too. Peter.

Bosch is 92% owned by the Robert Bosch Stiftung and 8% owned by the Bosch family.
That's not to say they don't rebrand Chinese products. Its more than likely they they do. And have Chinese factories obviously.

And have Chinese factories obviously. Without knowing what they're doing, I can tell you that I don't believe they do, there are Valeo factories all over France where they have their own production lines, they could of course import base products (like rubber for the wiper blades from China) , but all their products are made by them. They even have a factory in the town were I'm moored, but they don't sell directly to the private customer, so it's of no use to me that they're there, but it is for many inhabitants that found work there. Peter.

I used to be on an similar forum but left because of all the bitchy/sarkie/know it all but no help comments (usually from people with the longest memberships) This is my first post and guess what?? same old same old. If you are not interested why waste your time and effort posting irrelevant comments? Ignore foxy, he’s talking out his hat your best bet is to bung it on eBay tbh. good luck (and welcome btw 👍)

I don't think foxy has the longest membership, probably not far off, but he certainly has the most posts, has definitely made the most rubbish posts, but he is special to us. At least here you can tell him briefly what you think, like this " naughtyfox, don't be a twat with newbies" Not many fora allow that.

Well I suppose some people believe that hitting the highest number of posts is a life achievement. So I guess any newbie here (like MtB for example) might be perceived a threat to that aim. ....or maybe he wants the forum all to himself? World domination maybe? The next Mr Trump? ...or just a frustrated lead guitarist..
