I was under the impression that when parliament voted to enact article 50, we would be out on 29 March.
I now see even the EU leaders are advising a postponement.
Referendums we didn't need, results being ignored, exit dates overturned ... and now the threat of yet another general election.
Our historic statesmen must be spinning in their graves.

What happens next is she is expected to get a better deal from the eu. No 'deals' were voted for. Anyone caught doing 'dealing' with the EU on the 'Brexit' issue is a traitor and should be punished accordingly. First the UK just leaves - paying nothing, mind! - and then afterwards those who want to can sort their own deals out. Nothing wrong with being friendly towards other European countries and their peoples, but the RAF should be sending helicopters carrying buckets full of raw sewage to be poured over any EU Parliament buildings. Anyway, for those who don't like the whole nonsense, just go round and have words with your local MP/representative - let them know your mind. Question what they are getting paid for out of the public purse, and why it is so much for so little input.

The worst thing about this debacle is the Labour party.
the Tories were never going to be able to agree on a coherent policy towards Europe within themselves. The thing that really sickens me is complete failure of the Labour party to provide a credible opposition acceptable to a sizeable proportion of the electorate. The fact that the majority of posters on here, and presumably the country, would vote to keep the current set of incompetent clowns is hard to accept. Labour moderates should use a failure of the confidence vote to dispose of Corbyn right now, and let someone with some political credibility take his place.

This statement below epitomizes the hard fact of where this country stands. It shows the arrogance of some very sick people, and worse, they run the bloody country.
"Mark Francois, the vice chair of the European Research Group which is made up of pro-Brexit MPs, says he was at the champagne celebration party at Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg's house on Tuesday night after the vote."
We also have sturgeon now behaving like a rampant merkin across social media and london, looking to latch onto anything that might listen to her own agenda of independence. They're all nuts this lot.

It's the same the whole world over, it's the poor wot gets the blame. It's the rich wot gets the pleasure, ain't it all an effing shame.
It was always thus, it's just that the present circumstances have exposed them for what they have always been.
There are a few, damned few, who go into politics later in life, after a career of their own, with the desire to make things better. (sometimes their idea of better is not mine) However at least their intentions are honourable.
Professional politicians are another matter.
Honourable or just pigs at the trough, they all know what is best for everyone else.
and I'm damned if I know of any other way that is not at least as bad.

Watching Pmq's, and again it becomes evident that Corbyn just talks the talk, but can't walk the walk. Labour are in a stagnant place as long as he is their leader.

Rog I think we should string a few of them up from the lampposts, they might get on with it then. The politicians in this country don't seem to realise that they govern by consent. They are very close to the general populace removing their consent to be gverned by such a bunch of self serving twats.
