Diane Abbott has complained that she was treated unfairly and that Fiona Bruce showed bias on last week's Question Time. Does anyone else think the same? I think Fiona did treat her unfairly, I think she should have used a piece of 4 x 4 with nails in, that would have been fair, but maybe I am biased??

Wow ... that's some opener! Posted, quoted, and 'liked' all by you Made me giggle though. I have read reports on the issue, and in essence it appears Fiona Bruce insisted Labour were behind in 'the polls' when in fact they were behind in only one (the most recent) poll. Assuming I am allowed to vote, I would say she was treated fairly ... but accept someone having viewed may feel differently. Rog ETA By the way ... do you know your poll has been locked?

I quite like Dianne Abbot, eg on This Week with Smoothy Portillo and the grumpy Scottish one. But would I want her running the country? No I don't think so! We should bear in mind that female politicians do come in for some pretty appalling stick from social media etc and maybe Fiona was the last straw? Just as well it wasn't a bloke!

Didn't take long to find this:
"Abbott’s recent appearance on BBC’s Question Time has resulted in accusations of racism against Fiona Bruce and the audience. But let’s get this straight: The audience weren’t jeering the useless fucker because she is black, they were jeering her because she is as thick as pig-shit!
For, thirty years the stupid cow has been demonstrating the intellectual capacity of five-year-old, but nobody has been able to say anything against her …. just in case she pulls out the fucking race card.
Fuck knows what the voting population of Hackney North and Stoke Newington must be thinking when they get her elected each time. But wise up, people …. Diane Abbott is a total retard!"
"Flabbopottamus is a huge disappointment to the human race. Her constituents are not much better."
"I don’t believe Abbott is part of an oppressed minority – she’s in the upper earnings league with influence and connections almost beyond my imagination, on the basis of zero visible talent or aptitude"
"Just another entitled, racist, thick as shit, hypocritical, modern labour politician. She would fit seamlessly into the ANC."

Can anyone list anything good for the nation Diane Abbott has done? Or has she been involved in Politics because it's been an easy ride for her through life? Big salary, lots of free perks... Oh, here's someone: "Diane worked for the Home Office in 1976. She was so smart they put her on a course to fast-track her career." "Diane was a TV researcher and reporter from 1978 to 1985. I know a lot of those. They’re fast thinkers, avid fact hounds, brilliant minds." "Diane Abbott is here for women, children, food bank users, nurses, students, mothers, disabled people, refugees, every single one of us." - funny, I don't see 'British white men' anywhere.Who says all this, why, Jack Monroe who describes itself as a 'non-binary gender' (whatever that is!):
Jack Monroe 'non-binary gender' (I read into that as 'pick and choose when you fancy')cookingonabootstrap.com/2017/06/07/we-need-to-talk-about-diane-abbott-now-explicit-content/

I watched the program, and can honestly say that Fiona did question her more than the others, but that was because she wouldnt answer the questions, and kept on babbling shite! If she is the best Labour can offer God help us if they get in power, as she is a waste of space

Her answer to ever single question she is asked, even a very simple one, is a drawn out well.... followed by a load of waffle that very rarely answers the question asked. I know that politicians are well known for this but she takes it up several notches. She's the worst politician this country has ever produced, and that's saying something. The only possible reason that she keeps getting elected is that she's black, and stands in a constituency with a hell of a lot of black people. Put her elsewhere, she would get close to zero votes.

I like having her on the telly as I find her entertaining, but mainly because I don’t feel so dumb watching her answering simple questions. I think question time would benefit from the ‘Graham Norton chair’ - quickly get rid of those that won’t answer simple questions.
