As i thought then for cable size, this fitting must be misthreaded or what ever as its stated as 10/32 as the 33c cables are.
And what a plonker i am. i can just use a standard yammy end as the ones i have got and drill it out another mm or so to fit the pin. Just to tired nowadays to think straight.
Thanks kida, had enough today sp of to bed now. I sooo need this boat done and chill out.

No worries mate, I’ll give you a buzz teatime tomorrow anyway - high time we had a proper chinwag 🍻👍 gazza, I'm always very pleased to read about all the written help you offer to anyone on the forum, and even more that you're often helping people out with parts they need, if you happen to have these parts laying around somewhere. At first I thought that you did that to have an excuse to see the lovely woman in the post-office, but it didn't take me long to figure out that it's just because you're a very kind and helpful generous guy. It was also really great to read that there are more forum members more than willing to help out others in the need, like ianali offering to help Rog out if he needs a ride, and Andy Berg offering his car to quaysider when his mum died. Even if I don't know any of the other forum members personally (apart from 2), I'm very proud of you guys. Peter.

I have had afew offer recently to help sand my boat as i am struggling from another forum ( aswell as from here ) but this place comes in tops for all sorts of stuff. Myself also proud of it
