For a "holiday boater" the Fox certainly gets about!
That would do well in a photo competition 🤫

I love pictures when Ma Nature sends the right weather to turn ordinary into something quite stunning. I do tend to roam with Camera now as these small ones are so light. Wonderful sunset last night up here near Tebay services but still driving...9am start from Dover, M25 carpark rest, visit mum's grave then upwards through snarling slow road works.. In bed silly o'clock for 7am start to-day..Paisley final destination but stopping to get car serviced at Glasgow first(had disagreement with Swansea garage and cancelled it there) Few days there sorting out old friends problems then long drive back to my tiny terraced cottage... Then load up some furniture I'm donating daughter in law and off to Brum....decided if get rid again of stuff then it'll lighten life.... I'm catching up with the Fox for travelling.. In May have boat trip booked, taking my old friend on fishing boat for few days...that'll be interesting as he cannot walk very well and has other medical problems making away times rather challenging...but he helped me in my darkest hour....

If u ignore important stuff...it'll come back and bite u on the bum....
I don't always enjoy the writings that you post, but that's maybe only just me, however your photo's are often really stunning, and I think that you could have been a rather good photographer instead of a busdriver, driving screaming kids to- and from school on the icy roads.
Keep these beautiful scenic photo's coming please.
Back at our parking lot now, rather a long run 0730-1600, Kidderminster-Ashwood Marina, 9 locks upwards. To the pub this evening for a meal - first pub this week, apart from a quick half in a pub in Stroud last Saturday.
Taxi to order, some firewood given us to be sawn up, packing for return journey... all in all a successful holiday.
Oops - nearly forgot! Engine oil change. Will give the wee beastie an hour to cool down first.
Quiet minds cannot be perplexed or frightened but go on in fortune or misfortune at their own private pace, like a clock during a thunderstorm.
I hope that I never become famous and someone trawls my contributions on this site looking for the odd post which may be offensive.

JohnV: There are other drugs but I haven't found the side effects with Ramipril to be bad, it seems to just make my throat a bit more sensitive so things that might have just tickled my throat and make me want to clear it now make me cough.

loddon: The cough is the only one I get from ramipril, although the combinatins of drugs I am on has interesting effects.
