Gloriously glorious sunshine and little wind. A fabulous cruising day ... we've moved back up to just south of Berkhamstead. Not had breakfast and too late now. We'll walk into town and eat up there. My Daddies not rich and my Mother's not good looking either. Rog

Weekend nearly over, after last week's busy few days with Charlie up to stay, I didn't do very much. A minor repair on the car (the headlining had started to come away at the rear, a common fault at this age, so I sloshed a bit of PVA glue around and stuck it back).
Went out for a ride on the Vespa and noticed a bit of play in the front brake lever travel on so stripped down the headset and had a look. master cylinder needs replacing so ordered one of those and I'll fit that and flush the brake fluid through next weekend. Brake still works perfectly so I'll use the scoot to go to work this week as the weather forecast is good. Summer seems to have arrived at last (for the time being at least).

Very busy on the River.
Nice weather. Its rather awful from a technical point of view to have so many blatant plebs around but on the other hand people enjoying themselves is a positive outcome for society in general so one must not grumble.

I bought this little speedboat 32 yars ago when I was 18 for £450 with a Selva 25hp outboard. Not been in my possession for about 27 yars but still in fine form except it was a dark blue gel coat originally. Fast little blighter. Allmarine spitfire. Coolio.

Very warm ... much more humid too.
Jolly pleasant for relaxing in but not so great for those that are working.
Happily I'm in the former group so time for another cold AF Ghost Ship 😁

If it gets any warmer I'm going to let the stove go out.

Not so warm here on the west coast. Around 20c and cloudy, gentle westerly breeze off the sea. Perfect for kayking and walking activities.

It suddenly got a bit warm. Remember not to look at the Sun, serious damage can result, even from the briefest glimpse. The same goes for the Mail and the Express. It was 27c in the car today, now airless and still.

It suddenly got a bit warm. Did you find a buyer for Dulcinea? Not quite. A gentleman visited yesterday who seemed keen and might want to get it out for inspection.
