As we've been trapped indoors - hiding from whatever THIS particular storm is called for the last couple of days, this morning I entered all last years trips into canal planner to produce a map and summary of where we traveled...
Just sharing it here in case anyone is interested...
We Tried the Rochdale and were going to try Huddersfield Narrow briefly but they both were aborted when the drought closed them down.
Total distance traveled: 504 miles, 316 locks and more swing bridges than you can shake a stick at.
Mind your head if you stand up, and you can't lean to the side to check the side of the boat against the walls (to see the gap) as the walls can be all knobbly. It really is a marvel, right through the spine of the Pennines.
Quiet minds cannot be perplexed or frightened but go on in fortune or misfortune at their own private pace, like a clock during a thunderstorm.
I hope that I never become famous and someone trawls my contributions on this site looking for the odd post which may be offensive.

JohnV: There are other drugs but I haven't found the side effects with Ramipril to be bad, it seems to just make my throat a bit more sensitive so things that might have just tickled my throat and make me want to clear it now make me cough.

loddon: The cough is the only one I get from ramipril, although the combinatins of drugs I am on has interesting effects.
