Lost a vent when I was down in London, I assume that some hilarious jokester stole it as it wasn't there the next day. It's an odd size - 6 3/4". I found one source, Black Country Metal Works, but they're not in stock and a reply to my email to them about it resulted in no plans to manufacture any this size any time soon. So I guess I will have either keep looking (anyone seen any of these about?) or cover it up with something a bit more permanent than my broken plant pot. My concern is that the boat needs that vent for BSS reasons so I'm hesitant to cover it up. Any thoughts? I suppose I could see if a small vent will cover it. Pretty annoying though. As a temporary measure which would still function as ventilator you could make up a fixed top cover from a plastic or metal bowl fixed in place with a suitably sized bolt (threaded along it's whole length) and 3 nuts or a length of threaded rod and 4 nuts. The bolt diameter would need to be sized to pass through the central threaded boss in the ventilator casting.
