Just thought I'd get this in - the NBTA haven't said anything about Andrzei - his fate nor the fate of his boat. Why has that gone all quiet? Campaigns and Requests and News one day.... and then it all fizzles out. I'd like to know how it continued, why his boat was taken, what happened to it, what is Andrzei doing now?
Just my thoughts. I hate when things aren't followed up to a satisfactory conclusion.

How short their memories.

"Oliver's chain has debts of £71.5million and valuable assets are being removed to help cover the costs" "The 43-year-old, who has netted £240 million during 20 years in the public eye, said he was 'devastated' and 'deeply saddened by the outcome'" "The crumbling chain was also beset by a tide of poor reviews, including from restaurant critic Marina O'Loughlin who in 2018 said she would have to be 'paid to go back' to his restaurant in Westfield London." "And he still keeps the large house." "He is a Limited Liability kinda guy so the bailiffs won't be knocking at his door. His personal bank accounts are secure." "I think that jobs are more than 'at risk' now..." www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7086093/Jamie-Olivers-flagship-London-restaurant-cleared-bailiffs.html#comments

I'm proud to say my eldest boy cooked at the "flagship" London branch on and off for a couple of years and also the Cambridge branch.
Cooking to instructions that weren't followed precisely enough (no time/too few overworked underpaid staff who didn't care). Nobody tasted anything or exercised any judgement other than what it looked like. Head chefs nicking the Parma hams, everyone scoffing it at work plus nicking whatever they could. He never saw Jamie Oliver. I could have eaten there for free but he said don't bother, it's crap. This was about 5-6 years ago IIRC.
Recruitment of good head type chefs is difficult in a heavily controlled cooking environment - good ones wouldn't do it so "aledgedly" he inevitably ended up with a bunch of failure piss head types running each section and a pissed shouty bloke in overall charge.

That explains a lot really doesn't it ? yes..I think t does I will not miss eating at the Cardiff branch..in fact I was so relieved to see it shut when I went with daughter..got to eat at Bills(well think thats where we went)..so much nicer, lovely staff, holes in the wall to investigate(should have taken my expanding foam). My only niggle with our day out is daughter and grand daughter cleared off to Spice Girls concert(no ticket for me) leaving me to fight my way through hundreds of inebriated women pouring off trains at the station. Get back Swansea and had to walk 5 miles in drizzling cold rain as no buses.
