Hello all, if anyone would care to let me know what kit and which provider they use for wifi onboard it would be appreciated - it would be good to know what actually works. I know most folk enter the life to leave this behind, but having an 11 year old onboard and wifi will bring peace and harmony for us. Thanks. T.

It's not wifi as such but I use a dongle with a Vectone data card. I buy a new card every month, just under 12 quid for 10gb. It uses the EE network, I can usually get some kind of signal but without the external aerial would struggle in many places.

As ricco said, you will probably want a mifi unit, you get a super duper data sim card, EE and 3 do some great deals.
Pop it in and you then use it like wifi.

We have a Huawei mobile wifi unit from Three, I think it cost £45.
We have 20gb a month for £15.
Plenty for our needs, and very few places we don't get a signal.

We have a Huawei mobile wifi unit from Three Rog However, this (apparently) means that the Chinese President is personally familiar with all the web sites you visit. And he thinks you are a very naughty boy!

Two ways of doing it, one being a Mifi as previously mentioned. We had a Mifi but several years ago stopped using it. These days we just use one or other of our iPhones as a personal Wi-fi hotspot. Only thing is that makes them fairly thirsty on power so they really need to be plugged in when they are doing that. Also located in the window to get a good signal. We have always found Three to be the best carrier for data.
