What really worries me about trump is not that he's a twat, but he is so obviously a puppet who is pulling the strings and what is trump meant to be distracting us from?

President Trump is the democratically elected President of our greatest ally, the USA, richest and most powerful nation on earth. A former colony. A little respect is called for even if you cannot like the man or his policies. Using such descriptions is not only discourteous but demonstrates a sad lack of command of the English language on your behalf..

I think it must be teribly boring meeting the Queen and Boris-the-Adulterer. If Donald was really clever, like wot we are, he'd be heading for his narrowboat and enjoying the sound of swans banging on the sides at 5am.
Perhaps Sadiq Khan will attempt to assassinate him this time? I hear they don't much like each other.

Respect is earned not assumed, whether he's the democratically elected President, the Queen or Joe Bloggs down the pub.

Trump shows no respect for anyone else, unless there is something in it for him. We shouldn't have invited him.

Respect for the office of president, yes Respect for the man, not a chance.

Well, we seemed to have no problem inviting Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, ruler of a country where women are routinely executed for having the temerity to be raped to London.

Are we experiencing a comma shortage in this thread? So far we have had a puppet puppeteer and a new form of transport to London.

They've all had a knees up at the Palace ... bet they had a nicer tea than i did..sigh... On the menu, all translated from French, is steamed fillet of halibut to start, complemented by a watercress mousse, asparagus spears and a chervil sauce. The main course is new season Windsor lamb with herb stuffing, spring vegetables and a port sauce. Dessert will be Strawberry sable and lemon verbena cream, and guests will be offered a selection of assorted fresh fruits to finish up, as well as coffee and petit fours.
