It could be that those who protest are racist. I'll explain: In their minds Trump, being a white man from a developed nation, should by now know how to behave. Those from Arab countries (for example) are not as developed, politically and morally, as their counterparts from developed nations. Kind of inferior I suppose but because of this, they are cut some slack from the expectation that all politicians everywhere should embrace the notions of so called progressive politics; inclusion, equality etc. I think you are stretching quite significantly there. I think ricco has the nail on the head - where are all the lezzas and transperverts in Sparkbrook, shouldn't they be enlightening the protesting Muslims outside the school(s) there? Have the Pussy Riot girls booked any plane tickets to Afghanistan? Will Professor Victoria Bateman be flashing her mammaries on the streets of Sunderland? They just 'protest' (virtue-signal party with their friends) in nice safe environments where, at worst, a sympathetic policeperson might wag a finger at them. For those who glue their hands to windows, cut the whole window out and send them on their way (dragged away by a Shire horse?) - oh, and the bill for window replacement in the post.

I don't follow a lot of US foreign policy but Trump comes across as arrogant, mouthy and unpleasant..the sort of man I wouldn't want to meet or engage in conversation with. Where as Obama seemed much more pleasant and not a 'look at the great me, what I say goes' sort of man. Trump irritates.

I agree but when politicians get involved in protests I think it totally disgusting. Labour are hoping (please god no) to be in government shortly with Corbyn et al ...... they are standing there insulting a POTUS who, if they did win would be an important partner in all sorts of security/military/business arrangements. Remember that however much you may personally dislike Trump he was elected and the position of POTUS should be respected. Politicians should be very careful to whom they show disrespect. Private individuals have much more freedom (also by refusing to be at the Buck House banquet he was insulting the Queen, who is a far more formidable politician than Jeremy ever could be even if he lived to be as old as Methuselah)

Farage has no chance of winning a general election. People vote differently to other elections. It will again be a hung parliament, which would possibly see the Tories being propped up by Farage. Corbyn is slowly but surely alienating himself from even his staunchest allies, and I doubt labour would fair well. This country in recent years has proved its inhabitants float between middle and right ground at general elections.

Wonder what ole Liz Battenberg would think if JC got in.... cor bet their weekly chats would be tad frosty... Our Queen at least steps up and does the right thing by entertaining some quite unpleasant individuals.. In a position of authority be it Queen, PM, leader of the opposition or whoever comes responsibilities and sometimes those who should not let their personal opinion show, do.
