None of them! It is pretty unfortunate that we find ourselves with a useless, divided, dysfunctional and unelectable opposition as well as a useless, divided dysfunctional and unelectable party currently in power. If there were a general election now, I would have no idea who to vote for. Probably Screaming Lord Such

Probably Screaming Lord Such That’s why it’s time for a new political system which is less party based and let’s people vote for individuals who actually care about their country and local community.

Nice idea but I can’t see how it could work in practice. The party system means that stuff actually gets done. When the party system breaks down, as has happened with Brexit, nothing gets done. For most issues there isn’t just a binary choice, so if you have different people wanting to do slightly different things there are thus several different things to vote for and thus none of them gets a majority, and thus nothing happens.

Another connected issue that really pee's me off, is that the only debate and discussion regarding party policy takes place in the media.
What happened to the days when policy was agreed and then announced to the media?

When I say “nothing gets done” I mean nothing gets done by government. Yes of course life goes on, but nothing changes. If you think we currently have a perfect set of laws and policies then I suppose that’s fine, but personally I don’t.

Or is that just a conspiracy theory?

How about sorting out cladding on high rise buildings, staff shortages and lack of training for future Doctors & nurses, rising homelessness, unaffordable houses, lack of new house building............................. Added - there are a lot more important issues before we even get close to having a clear legal definition as to what constitutes continuous cruising. So lots parliament should be working on, but aren't. Added - meant to include rising murder rates and illegal drug gangs in the priority list.

Maybe once our government recognises our democratic decision to leave the European State it has become, we can get on with those things...we’d have more money too!

Time was political parties identified clear policy.
They announced and identified it to the media.
The public could decide which parties policy most suited their expectations, and voted accordingly.
Now everything is about 'personality' and individual.
There is no concensus.
I don't care who leads which party ... tell me what the party stands for !

Maybe once our government recognises our democratic decision to leave the European State it has become, we can get on with those things...we’d have more money too! whose democratic decision? 17.8 million out of an electorate of 46 million? it is human nature to be enthusiastic and vote for change if that is what you want........ it is also human nature to be unenthusiastic and not bother to vote to retain the status quo. 28 million did not vote to leave. <iframe width="22.660000000000082" height="5.480000000000018" style="position: absolute; width: 22.660000000000082px; height: 5.480000000000018px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 15px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_90665180" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="22.660000000000082" height="5.480000000000018" style="position: absolute; width: 22.66px; height: 5.48px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1074px; top: -5px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_22964005" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="22.660000000000082" height="5.480000000000018" style="position: absolute; width: 22.66px; height: 5.48px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 212px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_88827338" scrolling="no"></iframe> <iframe width="22.660000000000082" height="5.480000000000018" style="position: absolute; width: 22.66px; height: 5.48px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1074px; top: 212px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_15973579" scrolling="no"></iframe> the rules surrounding the so-called referendum were a load of bollox, and were the result of a situation created by a lacklustre and over-confident gentleman called Cameron.
