Boris is claiming there will be no tariffs with No Deal, people who know, including Liam Fox and Mark Carney say it just isn't true. The man's lust for power knows no bounds. Neither does the stupidity of the tory members who believe him. The tories are more concerned about their own party than the wellbeing of the country.

I am firmly of the opinion now, that the only meaningful and productive discussions that can take place, are those commenced once we are out of the EU.

I still donβt see how Boris can take us out of the Eu without a deal. Then again Iβm kinda past caring. He will just become the latest in a long line of useless leaders. Lovely day here in Leigh.

As an aside ianali have you moored in Leigh opposite the pub ? Just curious, because we had a couple of nights moored there on our way to and from Liverpool (midweek ... late night free disco in pub opposite at weekend) without incident. Later we were told by a boater who actually hails from Leigh that it's not safe to moor there ... bad things will happen apparently. Rog

Yes we are moored opposite the pub, will let you know tomorrow if bad things occurred. Hopefully the worst will be my disco moves. Can only say that so far all good, moored with half a dozen other boats. Lovely evening too.

To be fair. How many times pre election have candidates said they will do this or do that and then dont.
The opposition will always argue and say they would do a or b knowing they are not in power and wont have to actually carry it out.
They all misrepresent the truth.
Politics is starting to become a joke now though.

Politics is starting to become a joke now though. Its becoming the norm to lie and has been a trend thats seems to be increasing over the years or do the advances in media mean we r now more aware? Makes u wonder how much of history that we are taught/read is actually as it was or is it that all we know is mere grains of truth in a desert of deceit? The truth seems to have no place in success..so it'll be the one who lies the most that gets in... Oh dear...

Survived Leigh. Was quiet opposite pub after the disco, twoish i thinkπ. Underway towards Wigan now. First mile out of Leigh was depressing, lots of dead fish. Been some sort of pollution incident. Lovely now, had some more Foxy jam on my toast with lotsa coffee. Unfortunately have a bit of Foxβs seed stuck tween my teeth though π

Boris's campaign not going too well according to the papers, even his 'girlfriend' wants him out if a neighbour can be believed.
