I can't recall whether I'm mentioned on here, but in the last couple of weeks Andy's had two family bereavements - the latter of which happening last week when his parents were with us on the boat (both his mum's brother and sister died)...
He's had to go down to Wolverhampton to help them with it all... they're struggling..
Which means that on Friday when our next guests arrive in Wakefield to Tackle the Calder & Hebble to Brighouse and THEN up the Rochdale as far as Littleborough I'm gonna be single handing - NOT knowing how "capable" said guests will be to help.
I think I've managed to get a friend to come stay Friday through Sunday (which should get us to Sowerby Bridge (I hope if the river allows) but after that, I am really going to struggle.
If anyone has some free time and would be able to offer help through any sections ahead, I'd be SO grateful...
I have a nasty feeling it may be a couple of weeks until he returns so I'm going to have to try and find help wherever I can get it.
I'd like to help as you get up this way, got a few commitments, will keep track of you and see. It's not so bad single handing, often do it up and down that run if Noreen isn't on form. There's certainly no shortage of water. Hollingworth lake has topped up, maybe 3m, presumably the canal feeders up on the hills will have done so too.

JohnV: There are other drugs but I haven't found the side effects with Ramipril to be bad, it seems to just make my throat a bit more sensitive so things that might have just tickled my throat and make me want to clear it now make me cough.

loddon: The cough is the only one I get from ramipril, although the combinatins of drugs I am on has interesting effects.
