But, but, but.... If you add the Cons votes to the Brexit Party votes Leave won... Nige shooting himself in the foot. I hope next time his aim is better and he doesn't miss his head. Shows how incompetent he is, missing something that size. He's gone to Australia, on holiday.

With any luck they might keep him. He could help get rid of them pesky abos that have invaded their country and taken it over.

Sat 0743 - just listened to the Home Secretary on Radio 4 avoiding answering the question, but insisting on how important it is to leave the EU in October WITH a 'deal'.
Did I not say recently that Boris is another EU shill?
Boris also wants Turkey to join the EU.
So... no change. Theresa May's employers must be having a good laugh. You can hear the glasses of champagne clinking in the corridors of power in Brussels.

It's almost traditional in the UK for the government to lose at bi elections ... usually to Her Majesties opposition Sadly, we no longer seem to have one thanks to Jez and Di. Rog Ahh but we are soon to have an effective opposition - liberals. unless they shoot their own foot off again by making promises to get elected, then voting the opposite when in coalition.

Not really an idiot, when the Conservatives are trying really really hard to keep their snouts in the EU gravy trough. Expenses fiddling all round! Cheers!

This is Duncan Hames with his wife, Jo Swinson. He is a director of Transparency International UK. He leads the policy, advocacy, and research teams of the British Chapter of the worldwide anti-corruption movement. Why do you need to know this? Because he is also Jo Swinson's husband. You know, the leader of the Lib Dems - the party who will now revoke Article 50 and dismiss the will of 17.4 million UK voters who voted to leave the EU. Why is this important? Because Transparency International - for whom Jo Swinson's husband is a director in the UK chapter 'fighting corruption by day' as he says on his LinkedIn page - receives €4 million from the EU each year. Oh dear....

Wouldn't facts such as these have to be declared as it will not make her non biased..ah wait..this is politics... honesty and truth, working for the common people for the good of all has no role in modern day parliament....

So our gullible electorate has voted for the sleazy Libs. What short memories we have. The tories are down to a majority of one, stand by for a general election before the out means out date. I think Bojo tried for that one... A no since the less than honest towards their constituents MP's see the writing on the wall....

Oh dear.... More probable that Transparency International receives £4 million, but that doesn't make a good non story. By that reasoning we need to stone the fox, he actually gets eu euros from his eu subsidised bus company in his little brown envelope, then uses it to feed himself while he denigrates the EU. There's hypocracy for you.

There's hypocracy for you. Just for once I spring to the defence of Foxy. If Finland was not in the EU they would still have buses and still need bus drivers and Foxy would still get his brown envelope. Phil

There's hypocrisy for you. I corrected the word hypocrisy for you, Jim, hope that's OK? I didn't say the company I work for is subsidised by the EU, it is probably subsidised by the Finnish government, the government that is GIVING money to the scam known as the 'European Union', not the other way around. If Finland was not haemorrhaging money to the EU, perhaps my salary would be more.

"MPs' expenses: Jo Swinson submitted receipts for tooth flosser and eyeliner Jo Swinson, the youngest MP in the House of Commons, included receipts for eyeliner, a “tooth flosser” and 29p dusters with her parliamentary expenses claims." "she submitted a Tesco receipt for £22.67 that appeared to show that the MP or an aide went to the trouble of putting an asterisk next to three items, totalling £5.75, for which she intended to claim — a £1.75 chopping board, a “food saver” for £1.50 and a £2.50 sieve. An Asda receipt included a bottle of Mr Sheen cleaner costing 78p and a £1.19 window cleaner. She also claimed for a hair dryer and £16 lavatory roll holder, along with a £14.10 invoice to have a spare key cut for her cleaner."

I think only tories have duck houses in their moats. We can't judge Jo without comparing it to other MPs claims, can you prepare and post a spreadsheet for us, when you have a minute.
