when using my yoghurt pot, I nose up to the bridge and climb over the side, taking a line with me and tying it to the handrail. Open the bridge, pull the boat through with the line. close the bridge and climb back on board the boat. This was when I was just a youngster in my 60's ........ now ........ I would probably wait for someone

Do you think someone who can post on CWDF should go and ask if Naughty Cal has posted her definitive instructions for bridges yet

There's 2 of us on the Leeds Liverpool & I hate the ones as you get nearer to Liverpool itself.π‘They are all different so I get P to do them.I like the electronic ones where I can be like Mrs Hitler at the turn of a key.Off through Maghull tomorrow,so P can do them & I'll move the boat.

Hate being rushed by impatient motorists though so have on a couple of occasions instructed them how to close the bridge after I've pulled the boat through - doesn't speed things up for them though!

Score points for vehicles stopped. 1 for a pedestrian, 5 for a car, 10 for a sports car, 20 for a white van, double points for anyone that does a screeching u turn and zooms off the other way.

How many points for a cyclist coming to a screeching halt ?π depends on whether you have managed to trap them on the bridge, screeching to a halt before they drop off the end.
