I think the Wigan times are historically due to someone at the Wigan office arriving at work, having a coffee and then wandering up to unlock. Locking up timed again for someone to wander up, lock the flight then wander back to the office just in time to go home. A bit of a jolly for someone. 2 pm seems rather early to be going home. And what about the weekends?

There aren't always vlockies there so who locks/locks when they aren't there? e.g. all winter.

Guys in a C&RT van, presumably staff. Rog Hence 10am to 4pm most of the year? Why 2pm in the summer when people actually want to use the flight? I know CRT will say it's to conserve water, but I'm sceptical about that, limiting the hours doesn't limit the lock use, those boats still go up and down the flight. Is it because they hand it over to the vlockies who don't want to do a long day? I'd guess this is the real reason and frankly that stinks. Perhaps out WFC member can enlighten us if he's still reading.

Anyway, you are probably a leyther sock puppet. What exactly is a sock puppet? No, I don't know the person who made the original post.

If I were a gambling man I would put money in the WFC volockies having lobbied CRT Wigan to reinstate the “anti-vandal” restrictions. You would lose your stake.

You would lose your stake. do you know why it was changed to such a daft timing ? That's 15 minutes after the vandals go out of their dwellings in pleasant weather. Notably predictable species are vandals.

Is there an airport in Wigan now? Yes. This is where the Wigan Crew pick up their fight flight plans.
