No No No! It's strategic, best called to his advantage in November not the now to benefit the Tories. The puppet master got it wrong, he and Boris thought the Labour Party would just jump at the chance without any thought. Its no great hardship to block out the Quitling wails, "it's not fair" "you're frit" "chicken" and "weak". There will be no problem if Boris negotiates the best and easiest deal ever, as he promised. I suspect that is just a tory lie though, Dominic prefers a No Deal. He's actually doing nowt, nothing meaningful has been taken to the EU. He'll have to write that begging letter to the EU, or resign. Boris has just beaten his own world record premiership record. He's now lost 3 acts of Parliament votes. He'll go down as the first prime minister to achieve nowt at all. Old confusion curse "May you live in interesting times". I must disagree, Johnson will have achieved nothing in his 6 months as pm, where as May managed to achieve nothing in 3 years. Well, she did get a few bills through parliament at least.

Hahahahaha! If these cheap-labour types are so great and contribute so handsomely, how about they stay in their own countries where they can contribute handsomely to their own countries' economies? Fact is they're over in the UK because Brits are a soft touch and wages in the UK are much better than in countries such as Lithuania or Bulgaria. Many have no desire to 'integrate' - they are just here to earn money, sending some home so that they can retire to a big house in their home countries and live like Lords of the Manor in their village. It's just WRONG of Britain to steal qualified persons from other countries where their skills are so badly needed, all those brain surgeons and engineers and competent lorry drivers: ..not content with lowering wages for Brits, they have to smash the whole country up too! Finland suffers from an excess of migrants too, so I've heard. They should all go back where they came from, poor tinpot countries with ineffectual chaotic governments.

Yes, especially as they are all engineers and highly qualified in all kinds of things - they should be making their own countries great. Oh... you mean me. Well, I spent a few years helping to Make Britain Great. You'll just have to manage somehow without me. But we do bring lots of money to the UK five times a year, be grateful for small mercies.

"Immigration has pushed up house prices and hit pay packets for some. There was no “clear” benefit to the UK from low-skilled EU workers. Free movement rules meant immigration wasn’t always in the UK’s interest. The PM should end all preferential treatment for EU migrants post-Brexit. The recommendations from the Migration Advisory Committee incensed business leaders who said restrictions on low-skilled workers would lead to labour shortages and could push up food prices. But MAC chair Professor Alan Manning said firms in sectors such as hotels, catering, warehousing and the care sector should make their jobs more attractive to Brits." "They could think about finding ways to raise the wages, improve the terms and conditions so that these jobs become more attractive to UK residents.” "It found evidence that migration had dented wages for the poorest Brits by up to 5 per cent since 1997, pushed up unemployment and queues for council houses." Gina Miller - "The barmy old tart claims she “speaks for everybody”. No you don’t you vainglorious old bat, you speak for yourself, and for your rich poncy friends who want to get their housework, gardening and car valeting on the cheap from Eastern Europeans being paid poverty wages." "As to her cash, her former co-director, with her husband, in the very odd hedge fund SCM Private LLP, was Alexander Spencer-Churchill, grandson of the 10th Duke of Marlborough. Useful connections are probably not lacking. It showed an operating loss in 2017; the accounting basis was changed in 2018 but to my inexpert eye it doesn’t look capable of paying lawyers. Whatever’s paying for thwarting Brexit, it isn’t SCM, which is her only active UK business, so it’s got to be private funds or a secret benefactor."

whereas May managed to achieve nothing in 3 years. She managed to collect a lot of salary!! Mission accomplished! And, following the efforts of John Major, she and Boris now have an assured pension that all former premiers receive, something the Chinese refer to as an 'iron ricebowl'. So all Boris has to do is worry about the next twenty years or so. The future is bright.

They have risen because not enough houses are being built at an affordable price, councils can no longer build social housing and have had to sell off some of their stock.

"For far too long we have allowed those in Parliament to use machiavellian machinations to manipulate us. How fucking blind are we the people?
Watching a politician answer a straight question is embarrassing and we accept this squirming and avoidance as normal politics.
They are all at it, they call Boris dishonest and he is, so are the rest of them.
We really ought to get out on the streets and demand immediate suspension of Parliament and a general election, we won’t because as a nation we’ve bought into the mother of democracy bullshit.
Democracy is a sham, this truth is waved in our faces time and time again by the fact of their actions and yet we still choose to believe that we must allow democracy to run its course."

It’s not just the tories though Jim, everyone including us have a part to play. You can blame labels as much as you like. In no way, as a remainer , am I or any other remainer to blame for the brexit disaster. If quitters had got their act together we would have been out by now, it's quitters that can't form a common goal. The other factor is that a tiny majority based on lies is not a vote for No Deal. That's not how democracy works. Wrong. 480 remainer mps are to blame. The 180 brexit mps are split between deal or no deal. The big stumbling block for agreeing anything are the 480 mps. So you are incorrect to state no remainers are to blame. Once again it's the mps that are wholly to blame, us mere citizens have had no say what So ever since the vote. You keep blaming us for all the issues but we have no choice, just like yourself.

Not to mention that had the remainers not tried every trick in the book to delay and weaken our bargaining position, we'd have left, those few years of very slight downturn would be in the past. Boris has shown he needs no help at all in weakening his position. Remind me what his majority is, I have trouble counting backwards. I have trouble keeping up...

Anna Soubry left Parliament Square earlier, where she was meant to speak at a rally, after telling officers that she was 'too frightened'.

No not at all, it was and is a Tory Project, if they couldn't muster the votes in their own ranks they shouldn't have set about it. Its Tory MPs that are to blame, they are still at it, another one bites the dust today. Cameron was concerned about his majority, being threatened by nutty Nigel and the far right. He thought he could clear the air, instead we got a lingering foetid smell.
