No I haven't seen the film.
I thought the comment was referring to outcomes when the revolution gets going.

Edward II died in a similarly painful way. You can look that one 'up' for yourselves! Well you got me there, well done. In fact Edward II most likely died of starvation but a hot poker up the arse is so much more fun to read about.

There isn’t a poetry section so ‘POlitics’ is the closest I could get. Sorry I’m rubbish at poetry...doesn’t even rhyme... FREEDOM Freedom to feel the sun and morning dew on your face. Freedom to cuddle your children and hug your friends. Freedom to smell the scent of flowers and sea ozone. Freedom to hear the call of birds, music and waves crashing against rocks. Freedom to taste the fruits of nature’s offerings Freedom to see the beauty of the land, sea and sky. Freedom to roam in the countryside. Freedom to say what we think, and learn from our mistakes. Freedom to chose between right and wrong. What cost, freedom? Poetry doesnt have to rhyme it just has to mean something to the person that wrote it, if people like it they will repeat it, and if enough repeat it, it will be published fingers crossed for you Cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes, cornflakes.

It would just be nice to know people like it, or/and it perhaps being used by someone. I wrote a short book a few years ago to help newbies deal with tinnitus, I put it on the internet as a free book as I didn’t want to put people off by charging for it. Anyway, has anyone else here tried writing any poems?

Anyway, has anyone else here tried writing any poems? I used to write poems and stories at school. I do have a set of adventure stories going with my children called "the adventures of Bump and the Beetle". Its not all rhyming but the intro is a rhyming poem of sorts. I just make the stories up on the spot. its a sort of whinnie the Pooh type theme with several different characters and a map etc. Quite enjoyable actually. I'm not organised enough to get it all written down it just comes straight out of my head. Well I did write one of the stories down and put it on a little website I started called bumpandthebeetle.org. Bump and the Beetle and the Treechick. Kids love it. All good fun and relaxing for bed time. Poems are good too.

Anyway, has anyone else here tried writing any poems? Posted before but never mind. The loser wins. The loser cried; why oh why? do these things happen, time after time. It always rained or a heavy frost no singing no sunshine, all joy was lost. Be he didn't starve, he wasn't real cross he knew he deserved the pain and the dross. His wisdom shone through he already knew that change is the constant, not just for the few. He bided his time and waited in line for his chance to come, he will truly shine! But the chances are few they don't come around often so take them, reap them, milk them don't soften.

Not really Jim, well its had over 3000 views but I think it’s difficult to find unless you pay Google lots of money! It was more about helping people through the panic stages. The BTA did publish it in their magazine.

I attended history of poetry course and encouraged to have a go at lots of different forms. I found satire to be very cathartic but sonnets s difficult. I have been involved in a poetry exchange as part of my recovery .. to dateapprox 4000 verses exchanged with my old friend in Scotland. The format varies and I can see us carrying on until one party RIP. I enjoy poetry.
