I have a multi fuel stove but the Mikuni heats the hot water and the radiators

That makes sense and is a good arrangement.

OK I'll have another look tomorrow Thanks If the water pump and air pump arenβt trying to run, it wonβt be a fuel filter issue. The sequence of events is water pump on, glow plug on, air pump on after a few seconds and then fuel pump starts ticking, after a few seconds the heater should light off. I recommend Ed Shiers at 4 counties marine. Top bloke. fourcountiesmarineservices.com/mikuni-eberspacher-webasto/Exactly the same start sequence as my whispergen, its more complicated after it starts with its oxygen sensor, temp sensors, fid settings and a multitude of other stuff! My old one over the years had been modified to make it more reliable as it clocked up the hours, no doubt as my new one clocks up hours I will do the same again

SOLVED I think!!! I was pretty sure it was something to do with the power supply so I bought a multi meter(Amazon next day delivery to post office) and checked all the wiring There was no power to the switch. Long story short I tested the +lead to the battery with the 30a inline fuse, power was going in but not coming out. Cut out the inline fuse, connected straight to the battery and presto power to the switch. I haven't connected it all back up yet as I want to buy a new inline inline fuse holder and a boss gasket but I am pretty sure that was the problem. Why one side of the fuse holder should burn out I don't know. Maybe when I have it all connected and working again the same fault may occur but at least I proved there was no power to the switch. Watch this space.....

Spoke too soon..... Definitely sorted out the electrical connection but system still dead. Tried using both control units but zilch, nada, nutink. I'm not experienced enough to go further so either I call someone out or bite the bullet and replace it with a new system. .....π₯π₯

Right I have tried everything I know, also as suggested on here ( mostly) and have ring Mikuni half a dozen times and done what they said. No further on so going to call in at Streethay wharf on the way back there is a guy there knows a bit about Mikunis and he said he would give it a look before splashing out on a replacement. I have to say Mikuni were extremely helpful and patient with their advice.
