That is fine for you, what about us poor buggers that need to pay for a licence. Cost increase of 2000% is going to hurt! just add a word and it solves the problem "borne personally by the useless buggers" If only, . . wouldn't that be a result !

In the long run it's probably a good thing that they've exposed their secretive ways in a case where the whole population of a town and the BBC are smelling a big fat rat. It's too easy for them to fob off single boaters and FOI requests from same. Hopefully the BBC will keep up the pressure.
Do they really believe they are so important that they can claim National Security interest over this? They need a good slap with a wet fish.

"The Toddbrook Dam crisis in Whaley Bridge has cost Derbyshire County Council £700,000." Why aren't Derbyshire Council asking for this back from CRT?

National security? Were the Ministry of Defence hiding submarines in it?Will Whaley Bridge residents be demanding the truth, and claiming compensation for their inconvenience? Who will be paying for the Police and emergency services and helicopters? Ah, that's why it collapsed, someone accidently torpedoed it.

This is an easy report, can't understand why it's taken so long:
"The problem occurred due to water getting into cracks in the concrete wall due to lack of maintenance."
End of report.

The bad news is that they are unlikely to widen their concerns about CRT - unless of course CRT 'take them on'.

Cart are actually insane as an organisation, thats the only conclusion to draw. They expect to shout " national sercurity" and it will all go away. Now who is the secretary of state at the moment, there have been so many changes to the cabinet recently ive got no idea. But we should probably all be emailing them, saying its about time you reined the idiots at cart in before the actually kill someone with their incompetence.

You have to use a special email to contact him, in his role as head of defra. Ill see if i can find it.

Would this be the future PM with issues around residential boaters in the Molesey area ? Watch this space. dominicraab.com/2017/11/10/discussing-local-issues-with-molesey-team/I feel that this sort of "close to home" thing could translate to fairly major consequences if the geyser gets real power. To be fair he is a better bet than the awful unelected scumbag we have currently.
