I've been following Robbie's youtube channel and just discovered he's only gone and landed himself a 5 part BBC series - go on lad! Airs on BBC 1 on the 18th Nov at 7.30pm if anyone's interested. Lovin' the fact they've not popped him on a shiney new boat and that the Naughty Lass will also feature; and that they start the journey from Shardlow!

We met him on the Macclesfield.
He's a good lad and wish him every success in his new venture.
He's very entertaining on his Youtube blogs ... hope that feel stays, within the restrictions that the BBC will impose.
The five progs cover his journey all the way to Liverpool.

I like his vlogs, he’s younger than most - and he does cities and moors where some would fear to tread! And is there anything more useful than “pub of the week”? 😁

I watched a bit of one , a bit boring 'cos I know the backstory, and I like the naivity, if that is the right word, of Robbie at large, on you tube. I expect he will still have yourube vlogs, as I don't think there is enough meat in the TV Diaries to keep it going. Unlike, ssy , Martin Zero, who has the whole of UK heritage to work with I also don't want Robbie to get too professional, leave that to Cruising the Cut, it's Robboe's more 'natural' style that makes me watch Robbie Cummings.

I like his narrative (we spotted him moored in Nantwich (still during the first lock down) as we zoomed up the Llangollen... it was nice in a way not to see many folks out and about last night and I was surprised he didn't make more of a feature of that ruddy awful Iron lock which tries to kill you with those framing ledges. I like the way he zoomed up Audlem locks lol.
He's lost a fair bit of weight though ... he didn't look especially well last night... I HOPE he IS though.
