What a vibrant multi ethnic place London is. If you like to be stabbed, mugged by moped riders, or have acid thrown in your face.

That's not 'breaking News', Jim, it's dated 2017. Yes, it is inappropriate for a driver to video what goes on at work, with ticket transactions, etc. (perhaps more appropriate in some kind of emergency). However, if a passenger says their phone battery has died, then the simple answer is to buy a new ticket. 'Batteries dying' just doesn't happen, if your phone is properly charged and you intend to use it to carry a ticket or airline boarding pass. 00:00 Bus Driver: What are you telling me? 00:01 Somali woman, my cell phone died… 00:02 Bus driver: Don’t lie… The driver is wrong here. The correct procedure is to say: "Oh dear. Where is it you're going? A ticket to there will cost (state sum)." 00:25 "This is a public place I can film this situation because you’re lying to me" - no, the inside of a bus is not a 'public place'. The driver is not entitled to video, and neither are the passengers. (Kids on my bus have been told they may not take photos or make videos inside the bus; outside the bus they're free to.) "01:07 Show me the phone and let me see if it’s on… 01:09 and see if it’s off or not…" Well, that's fair enough, to see that the phone battery has really died and they weren't trying to take the piss. I have told people to get off the bus, or have the Police pull them off, when they have tried to 'pull the wool over my eyes' on boarding. This is in the olden days when I drove in the Greater Helsinki area. Of course I'd look through my fingers if someone came on and asked politely if they could travel somewhere because they don't have any money, because they were honest straight away, and those cases were rare, and it's silly to be inflexible. Good advertising for public transport, too, if drivers are reasonable. But then you get the wankers who flash their out of date ticket and walk past... until I called them back and told them to Piss Off. When you do the job every day, you get to know what it's all about. It is somewhat amusing that now there are Russian bus drivers in Helsinki, and they do not like the Ali Babas and Somalis very much. The Finns have mostly been kicked out of the bus companies in Helsinki and replaced by cheap labour from Eastern Europe. Let them squabble amongst themselves. Anyway, Jim, I'm surprised you loiter in such blatantly racist sites. But as a fully paid-up member of the EU, it doesn't come as a surprise.

If they'd come over the Channel in a dinghy, Border Farce would have sent one of their taxis out to bring them in for free. It's OK, we won't let you back in when the Russians claim their territory back again. Turner coat European! We'll just shout encouraging remarks from behind our moat. Go on foxy, bash the reds. I think you are getting 'illegal' and 'legal' mixed up, Jimbo. I flew over on a Saturday morning with British Airways (with our two cats), and went to work at 7am on the Monday morning. I had a job, residence permit, and work permit all lined up. And a place to live. I didn't come to Finland in the back of a lorry, having slashed its curtains to clamber aboard, nor did I come across the Baltic Sea in a stolen dinghy. Nor did I head straight for the Social Office. Turncoat? About what? If people were forced to live all their lives in a country such as England, after having been born there, it would be more of a prison than 'a free country'. Going to live abroad is not being 'a traitor'. A traitor is someone who deliberately, perhaps for their own profit, tries to damage their own country (like all the Remainer politicians, eh, Anna Sour Brie?!). Tit for tat, in the case of the UK - Finland, it would be quite fair if a Finnish man ended up driving a bus in England (and married an English girl).

I suppose it must have been a sealed container. How unpleasant . Although it's being widely reported as being a shipping container, it isn't actually a shipping container, it's a refrigerated tri-axle trailer.

Yes I was a bit surprised to hear a shipping container was on a lorry. Does this mean the victims were frozen to death?

What goes "Whoooooosh"? A pertinent ironic comment going over a fox's head.

What a vibrant multi ethnic place London is, yes, been several times. I believe some even interbreed with foreigners, even in our own thunderboat. Guilty as charged. Me too your honour, many colours, nationalities, religions, different shapes and sizes. No Eskimos, Jains or Spanish yet, regretably.

We saw a few Eskimos on Friday, although I think their new classification is 'People of Greenland' or something. That's 'cos we came with SAS via Denmark. There was one elderly Eskimo woman sat next to Pirkko. Her behaviour was just like that of elderly Japanese/Chinese women - it's because they have similar genes, having migrated across the Alaska land bridge before it got blown up. Eskimos. Often seen at airports.

Just watched the press release from Essex constabulary and she said container twice, its clearly just a lorry trailer.
The lorry driver was still in custody on a charge of murder.
I hope for his sake the autopsys show they were dead before he hooked up his cab.
