Conservative at the moment. I met our MP Simon Clarke the other day outside our local Sainsbury's and slightly confused him by saying I dont back Boris but was going to vote Conservative.

Was this whole Brexit thing a cunning ploy by Cameron to permanently bury the Labour party?
This is exactly what was planned isn't it. Made to look like a farce.

Was this whole Brexit thing a cunning ploy by Cameron to permanently bury the Labour party? Cameron's pledge to hold a referendum was a desperate attempt to stem the rise of UKIP, and to be fair the strategy was effective. Unfortunately the plebs did not vote in quite the same way as their masters had predicted, hence the current shitstorm.

I think he knew how the plebs would vote. Sure of it. It's a long game.

My agenda is mostly about scottish independence (ie discouraging it). I certainly wouldn’t vote for labour, JC just isn’t suitable material for PM and labour policies seem pie in the sky. I might vote liberal because there has been a traditionally strong liberal vote in NE Scotland and cancelling Brexit would shut Nicola fish-face up - for a few seconds. But what are the chances of the liberals gaining power? Virtually none.
So I’ll probably end up voting Tory. I seriously dislike not-very-pretty Patel though. More than I dislike boris. But they are right about one thing -we need to get Brexit done. I don’t really care whether “done” means carried our, or abandoned. I am ambivalent because unlike the rest of the country, I can see both sides. But we do need to exit the doldrums of uncertainty.
Unfortunately our local MP is/was that naughty boy Ross Thomson, who has been groping pretty boys (well men, actually) in the Houses of Parliament bar. The naughty perv! So it will be some random new Tory I suppose.

Anyway good see that so far, we only have one nutter in the group who wants to vote for the brexit party despite them having no policies or experience and it just being our Nige’s ego trip part 2

I long for the days when I can vote positively for Conservatives again, like back in 79 and onwards.
Now my vote is purely because I could never ever vote for the likes of Corbyn and his utterly stupid and unachievable 'cable broadband for all' policy.
We are lucky and one of the 8% and have cable right up to our house, getting the remaining 92% there is just impossible. Even if they got in they will be out again by their target date.
The policies of mickey mouse.

In those areas I would vote for Brexit or Independant (or next doors cat) as a preferable alternative I am not 100% certain of the Conservative MP in this constituency although he mouths some of the right things

I will not vote labour - I remember when the phone service was a nationalised service run by the post office, it was terrible. I never want to return to having the government running a fast changing technology service. Water and power is fine, as nothing changes, rail will get worse, but broadband..................

As a lifelong Tory voter I will not be voting for them this time. I will be voting but not for them. Reason is that no party has done more to damage this country than they have.

I'll vote TORY. However it will do no good because I live in a labour stronghold, Alan Whitehead has been my MP for 22 years.
Saying that, it will be a big seat for labour to lose.
