I liked the coal boat photo ... just a straight photo of boats doing their thing. Does that photo not have a filter applied or some sort of processing 'adjustments' applied - colours and a few other things mean it doesn't look like a 'straight' photo to me. I've had another look - and, yes, the yellows do appear to be enhanced. Only the photographer can tell us....

Not picking a fight.
To me the effect is very noticeable (I genuinely do have an interest in photography and how others see photos) - the effect is even more noticeable (in my eyes) than Foxy's photo which (this time) could have been a superb capture of the actual natural effects.
Jolly good. It looks like a simple photo to me ... autumn on the canal ... coal boat delivering ... very evocative and tells a story to me rather than just a snapshot in time. Out of two photos I could have voted for - this coal boats photo was one. What spoils it is that the horizon is wonky/slanted.

I think Donkey must have passed out last night - he forgot to remove the two or three votes he gave me from his socks-puppets. My one vote got put back where I want it yesterday morning - to an honest photo.

Foxy's so far in the lead now I suspect he's won whatever you ladies vote. I thought people could change their vote whenever? Now there's a thought, If someone you voted for gets a bit uppity.....
