I spent 2 weeks on a Transatlantic cruise a few years back (Fred Olsen's Blackwatch) with him (Parsons that is) and his wife. Come to think of it, Him and Tom O'conner were the "turns" and both interacted very casually and friendly with fellow passengers during their down time around the ship... lovely man.

I always hated The Goodies and still do. I hope they fall off their stupid bike.

Sad news, he'll be missed. Not really because everyone had already forgotten about him. I do remember him though, vaguely. Always had a question card in his hand? "It's behind you!"

What an ignorant migrant you are. He's been on the radio for many years, until a few weeks back. Witty and talented. Invented all his own work of course, no CnP for him.

Anyway, here he is: sometimes Ross you talk crap. classed as one of Stanley Kubricks best films and now almost ignored was "Paths of Glory" and the lead? Kirk Douglas. excellent acting in a great film I don't know how many films he acted in but it was a lot and many of them good ones even after 60 years It is still a great film

Kirk Rides Again. A Fistful of Douglases. I do like his son Michael though, has acted well in some movies, although the one we half-watched on Tuesday evening where he looks after his granddaughter with Diane Keaton was decidedly lacklustre. Also they nicked an idea from the Bridget Jones' Diary movie - I'll find both to show you when I get home and can use the grown-ups' computer.

Next time get seats down the front, no snogging and keep your hands to yourself. Then you won't miss anything.
