The royal couple are to move to North America and become financially independent. I think she wears the trousers in that relationship, but I suspect the constant press pressure has a lot to do with the decision lessons not learnt after Diana.
All credit to them if they are not happy, but I wonder what he could do to earn his own money. Apart from the forces I am not aware that he could do anything else, and some say he is quite thick. Reports say he has been left millions in wills. She could go back to acting.
Will they still need to have security and if so who will pay for it?

If that's true then all I can say is there are no flies on them.
ETA I don't suspect there are likely to be any financial pressures in the next 50 years of their lives.
Maybe he could be a halibut fisherman.

She's bad news in my opinion. Nothing but trouble from the start. She ditched her family, ditched her Dad, ditched most of her old friends, split Harry from William and has now split him from the Royal Family. History will gain yet another scandal.

I suspect that you may be right, she seems to have a gift for splitting anything apart, I can't help thinking how close William and Harry were and now look at them. Phil

I wish them both all the luck in the world. Perhaps looking forward to the rest of his life Harry has got his priorities right. Its nice that they have the choice.

Good luck to them both. I certainly wouldn't like to live my life according to the whims of petty minded royalists. Well be seeing lots more huffing and puffing from the Express readers. They've had the foresight to sue the press to increase their funds too, so they will be going for the kill.

No, the titles stay and why not? Why? Would be my question well that and who pays for their security. They're probably cheaper than the tax/licence fees needed to pay Gary Linneker to waffle on about foot the ball. Not that I'm in favour of either. Just more celeb side tracking smoke screen while our politicians continue to do us over.

No, the titles stay and why not? Why? Would be my question well that and who pays for their security. The titles are hereditary, there is no mechanism to remove them as far as I know. Of course Harry can, if he chooses, let it be known he wants to be addressed as “Harry Windsor” as opposed to “your royal highness” etc. As to security costs this was covered by the Beeb - when in North America, they will have to fund it themselves (or via the organisations they create). When in UK on any royal-related activities, by the taxpayer as usual.
