Surely the real killer was the ever so slightly inebriated driver of her car not the paps. Phil nobody disputes that, but the situation arose and developed because The situation arose because Diana made herself 'The Peoples' Princess', went round shagging everyone, and didn't tell the 'phoney pharaoh' Mohammed Fayed's pissed-up taxi driver to slow down because she liked the thrill of the chase.

Everything has offense potential if someone tries hard enough to find an angle.

It a very odd topic the offensive word thing. My attitude is not to find any words offensive and I have raised my children to have the same view.
Only the other day my younger daughter (7.5 years old) said "Papa, mummy says you are a useless cunt" very matter of fact and straightforward.
I found this quite hilarious rather than taking offence. The woman is french so the kids call me Papa but they call her mummy when talking to me.
It's really best not to be offended and it's definitely not useful to be offended on behalf of other people who might not actually be offended in the first place !!
I suppose racism has got some legal shit around it so you have to be careful when calling a spade a spade.
Easy to dismiss racism when you have never experienced it...

I think the term "wog" would have been better rather than Paki as it is more of a universal type of word and (?) less offensive. I don't wish them any bad, just so long as they get on with it, and stop lecturing us on Climate Change whilst flying all round the world at our expense. Yes, go and get real jobs or careers, Megs and Harry. And Harry - give your row of medals back, you've done nothing in the Army to deserve them. It''s an insult to those who have had real careers in the military for you to have medals just heaped upon you. Do the washing up, or the vacuuming, perhaps Meghan will give you a medal for that. However, we all know they'll be using their 'status/titles' to get some easy 'jobs', don't we? Perhaps Megs can go into competition with Gwyneth, eh? "I notice that the modern soy types seem to love a candle or ten; shops full of rack after rack of this Yankee Candle bollocks, £30 for a lump of wax in a glass jar. I wonder how much overlap there is with the smug vegan/eco/woke prick set? Bleating on the one hand about saving the planet, then on the other shipping this toss halfway round the world to literally go up in smoke?"

but he served in the military in an area of conflict, and has earned his medals. He was shipped out to Afghanistan and then flown back "because he was putting the other soldiers at risk". Why Afghanistan, who can say, as it was Saudis who flew planes into the World Trade Centre in New York. Just an innocent scapegoat.naughtyfox please feel free to enlighten me what conflicts you have served in before you belittle a member of our services. Driving a school bus - not for the feint-hearted.

"Former teachers of Prince Harry at Eton College helped him cheat in his A-level art course because he was such a weak student, a tribunal was told yesterday. One teacher allegedly prepared explanatory text to go with images produced by Harry while a second helped the prince insert the lines into a project. The head of art at Eton also allegedly completed work for Harry which was later published in newspapers around the world. As the prince began army officer training at Sandhurst yesterday, one of his former teachers, Sarah Forsyth, was claiming that his art exam result, which helped him get into the elite college, was flawed. Ms Forsyth told an employment tribunal, where she is claiming unfair dismissal, that the evening before a moderator was due at the school to look at the students' AS-level work - which counts towards their A-level grade - she was asked by the head of art, Ian Burke, to prepare text to go with some of Harry's work for his Expressive Project, in which a pupil is required to explain some of his work and relate it to that of great artists. Ms Forsyth said she was "profoundly shocked", adding: "I was concerned that this was unethical and probably constituted cheating." She claims she was too frightened to disobey Mr Burke and did what was asked of her. Later she allegedly saw the prince sitting beside Mr Burke apparently deciding which of her lines should go where. Ms Forsyth claims the prince thanked her for her help. Ms Forsyth, 30, said Harry's failings as a student were well known at Eton and she had been told that a teacher who marked Harry's entrance exam had been "desperate" to find points for which he could award marks. Prince Harry strongly denies he was guilty of cheating." www.theguardian.com/uk/2005/may/10/schools.alevels2004

Slag him off for whatever you like, but he was a member of the military and his service medals were earned.
I tire of people slagging off our service personel simply for being in the service of their country.

Why do I get the feeling he had different treatment to other military personnel?
Maybe he was genuinely put in harm's way but for some reason I find it very improbable.

And not just innocent Afghanistanis! "A smiling Prince Harry crouches over the body of one-ton water buffalo moments after he shot it dead on a hunting trip." "This photograph has emerged less than a week after the young royal pledged to do all he could to save Africa’s critically endangered wildlife."

I think the term "wog" would have been better rather than Paki as it is more of a universal type of word and (?) less offensive. As for parentage the old git in this story seems quite a dodgy character despite apparently being an Anglo Saxon. Use a moderately offensive work rather than a highly offensive one; I like your style. Isn't it strange though how some words are considered offensive while others aren't, when the words were derived in the same way. Aussie is perfectly fine (for now?) while Chinky seems to now be moderately offensive for some reason, perhaps a similar standing to wog, while Paki is considered highly offensive. I'm not up to date with Itis and Spicks, perhaps those are offensive words nowadays? about 20 years ago SWMBO was working in a bank alongside a charming lady called Rosie whose parents are Jamaican. she overheard a couple of polite old ladies quietly (so they thought) discussing which cashier desk to go to, and describing Rosie as 'the foreign coloured lady'. Rosie overheard them as well and said loudly in her best made-up Jamaican accent " I is BLACK! "

Rog His medals are a mixture of a campaign medal (awarded to any active service personnel in any given campaign - if you were there you got one) another awarded to him for bravely being the grandson of Elizabeth II, another for bravely being the great-great grandson of Victoria, and the last one for being in the armed forces for five years.
