More often than not I find it necessary to attach a car battery to some sort of low wattage wiring. Not a vegan or a veggie but I like soya milk. The ring pull things in soya milk containers are excellent for clipping wires onto car batteries. Like this Almost like they are made for the job. I now save these items as essential equipment. Disclaimer : if you blow up your boat, break your legs and die don't come running to me about it.

Your fuse looks like a knot!

I always tie a knot in positive leads it helps identify them later if they are not red. In this case both wires are blue..
The yellow one is okay because the neg is black but the neg for that blue one is also blue.
If in doubt, tie a knot in it.
As the actress said to the bishop.

A cable tie would work just as well, and you wouldn't have to buy the weird milk drink.

Cable ties don't work. I have tried them and they tend to slip off upwards. They have no elasticity. These little soya milk caps are slightly flexible. As you slide it on it sort of locks in place. So to speak.
Tea is ok with soya milk and it lasts longer with no fridge which is handy. I never really got the point of fridges on boats on inland waterways.

Are you going to approach dragons den to get funding to expand your new invention. You will of course require a catchy tune to accompany your pitch. You know, like the reggae sauce bloke.I can write something if you like.....for a percentage, of course.

Yes, photographs purporting to be of a technical nature which have a hand grenade in the background are Magnetman's equivalent of Andyberg's photographs of some pastoral and bucolic scene which have some Romanian teenager with big tits in them somewhere.

An unsafe and potentially dangerous idea. They are flammable, not approved.
Stainless worm drive hose clips much better.

An unsafe and potentially dangerous idea. They are flammable, not approved. Stainless worm drive hose clips much better. It's fine for low wattage use as mentioned in the title. The jubilee clips would be better if you wanted to get some high power gear connected. ETA elastic bands don't have the correct tension.
