I've always used butane or propane on the same stoves etc. Never had a problem. Butane has a higher calorific value though, it may be an advantage to use it in summer. But CBA.

It does if you have the wrong jets fitted. Either hopeless or CO poisoning. However it’s important to remember that the mass flow rate of the gas through a jet isn’t proportional to the pressure. I often remind myself of that very phenomena.

But (and I appreciate one shouldn't commence a sentence with a conjunction) you must be operating in absentia as we have been told (frequently) that the Proper Skoolboy is currently otherwise engaged being mesmerised by sequins and codpieces. Hope they managed a safe journey through this persistent fog - really grotty here all day on the T&M - hope the rest of you had a decent day. met x

I've got a funny feeling that later this year, say end of February, there are going to be some really bad floods.
I hope not but the ingredients are there.
it's up to nature to add the spice.

We had a walk by the canal at Blackburn Meadows with my brother in law and his dog.
Lovely sunny day with clear blue sky again, but cold and ice on puddles.
Only 19th today ... this month does go on rather.

Only 19th today ... this month does go on rather. Rog Heavy persistent fog never lifted all day here so good to know some of you saw blue skies. If only I were talented ...... I'd love to make something musical of the January Blues …. Hate to wish the time away - but ……. however, a day well done as I bought a pair of Gap jeans (turned out to be far too big though!!) for £3 in the local charity shop - along with a whole bag of mega reduced veg and sundries for £2.82 in the local stupidmarket. Every cloud ….. met x
