Even more anti-climactic than new years eve...

We're out, that's all that matters to me. Not everybody needs a party to be happy.

May's deal would have locked us in more than we are now. Who knows what the legal speak will lock us into in a year (or more). Lets just say I don't trust our current politicians.

Boris ain't interested in a deal to the extent of selling us out, come December 30th, he'll tell em to do one.

But my faith in our political system and those that run it, no matter what colour or hue, is so shaken that I dread any more changes.

I didn't "celebrate" as such ....... it wasn't that kind of event. I opened a bottle of very good English fizz at 11pm and toasted a new beginning.
(I must confess to a slight feeling of satisfaction that we have stopped ? well at least limited, the decades of steady downward creep towards a totalitarian state)

You do realise europe still exists and you'll still be able to visit all those countries on your holidays and eat pasta, beef bourguinion, and bratwurst to your heart's content Jim . They'll all still be there ... they just won't govern us anymore. Rog

I love Boris, he's the man right enough.
