The irony of your last sentance, Just wait and see what this government does, I believe we are sliding towards being a totalitarian state with no help from Europe. Illegally proroguing parliament, lying to the Queen and country, you can hear the Whoosh as the irony of it all whizzes by the Quitters. Had the prorogation really been illegal, then someone would have been prosecuted. It was only a biased remainer who decided it was illegal and decreed that Boris had lied to the Queen. There was no proof of this accusation, and there was no precedence to support the decision. In fact, there was precedent for the action he proposed, namely by one of the most vocal opponents of prorogation. This allowed those individuals who could not make up their minds on a common solution to prolong the debacle for a few more weeks. The small minds of those who refused a Conservative Party Conference after they were allowed theirs got their comeuppance at the election. Boris is giving the EU a chance to save some face; if they can't be constructive in the 11 months then they will be the ones to regret it. Their trade to us is more important than ours to them. We have the opportunity to expand our markets unfettered from the corrupt controls that the EU practices and encourages.

I expect my old infants school is now 'Little Parndon Academy'. Oh yeah.... how's it going with Sheffield 'University' and their Stasi snowflake snitches? Paid to grass on anyone who has a different opinion.

Only 17% of graduates are expected to pay back their student loans in full, meaning that the 83% who won't need to pay back the loans because they never even earn as much as an HGV driver have simply wasted three years of their lives. fullfact.org/education/about-17-students-are-forecast-fully-pay-back-their-loans/

More importantly it means that most youngsters end up being controlled by debt for a large part of their lives (obviously not those born into financially wealthy families!)

The research conducted by the unit is of a high international standard, genuinely multidisciplinary and based on multiple voices. The unit is in dialogue with several disciplines and participates in various scientific and public debates. The unit conducts multidisciplinary research particularly on the boundaries of cultural and social studies." Just to show there are no hard feelings, I found Jim Riley this nice video. Enjoy! Who is the blonde old bag with the Oirish accent? * "If you disobey the rules you get cut off." - would make an excellent CWDF moderator! "Could we please remove the flags." - what an attitude! I think the UK has pumped more than enough money into the EU - so what if they wave little flags for a few seconds? The EU Nazis get so annoyed at little things, don't they? Can I just say, if I may say, just in a slight reference, the word 'hate' was used in the last contribution, and I really think given what we listened to prior to this that we should not hate anyone, or any nation, or any people." Sorry, darling, but I think everyone should hate condescending people like you. I wonder what your expenses claim looks like? 'Vice' President indeed - the EU Parliament is a hotbed of vice. * Mairead McGuinness. "Salary: The monthly pre-tax salary of MEPs under the single statute is, in 2018, β¬8,611.31. MEP salaries are paid from Parliamentβs budget. My salary is subject to EU tax, Irish tax and accident insurance contribution." Just why are these people getting paid to drink bottled water in Brussels? www.europarl.europa.eu/meps/en/28115/MAIREAD_MCGUINNESS/assistants#mep-card-content
