'Sexist old man' is not a pop ? Really ? I think she looks lovely. The eagerness with which the press attacks females over their dress is alarming ... no comment on what she said, just how she looked. I didn't criticise Corbyn for his dress sense ... there was plenty of other targets. It's amazing how newspapers who used to sport topless models, routinely stir up apoplexy if someone is seen breast feeding in public ... or bareing a shoulder in Westminster. What do you think ? Rog There are a growing number of woke twats sprouting crap. Wimps.

I'm sorry, but I think calling me a 'sexist old man' is taking a pop, and merely saying you're not and putting a smiley doesn't make it better. But I don't hate you, just letting you know it looks like a pop. Did you think I'd ignore it ? Anyway, you challenged my view that the lady looked lovely ... what's your view ? Rog I don't think his view goes much further than the toe of his wank sock.

I agree ... but I meant your view on the criticism levelled at her ... and indeed as you raised it, Corbyn's appearance ? Rog Criticism of her plus Corbyn is slightly misplaced (in respect that it detracts from the message - it shouldn't do).
Open minded about whether her criticism was sexist or just very unpleasant.

Another weird thing ... the press always mention age when talking about a lady, but not about blokes ... what the hell is the relevance of her being 58 if the justifiable point at issue is her dress !
Surely the age of the dress would have more relevance.

How about Elizabeth Truss turning up for her next meeting in Brussels in a onesie?

generally business dress is the standard, ties are no longer required but jackets are.
I would suggest that that dress was not what would expect someone to wear at a business meeting. a soiree after maybe but not for a meeting.
At that level I would agree with those who claim it was "unsuitable wear" but I don't approve of the way that she was attacked over it
