Here's my experiment. Two clips were filmed earlier this week (the rainy ones), two yesterday around 1150-1215 (the sunny ones from the side). Just playing about with the timelapse function. Aren't empty roads nice?!

It would be nice just to sit in a chair all day.

Isn't Finland flat ... where the hell do they go to do a hill start on test ? I usually describe Finland as 'undulating'. Where we live on the west coast it is apparently old sea bed that has risen since the glaciers melted and stopped pressing down. When I drive East from Kannus to Eskola it is distinctly uphill - Finland is higher in the east and north. There are no mountains in Finland, but there are some high-ish hills here & there, for instance there's a belt of hilly country between Tampere and Jyväskylä - the Kangasala to Orivesi road goes up and down like a yo-yo with lots of bends and I've always called that route as 'crossing Finland's Alps'. I used to drive along that often coming to Himanka from Helsinki, preferring the smaller empty roads. Here's today's clip. This is where I am approx 0820-0855 every morning. Taken with 5-minute lengths squeezed into 20 seconds. Some lengths are shorter than others for the cutting-joining purpose - I pulled into bus stops or just stopped to turn the video off before it got to 5 minutes and turned itself off automatically, and re-started a 5-minute run. The joins are fairly unnoticeable. This was an experiment to see if this way of joining would work - yes, it does. Camera on tripod. Playing with these timelapses has given me an idea about making a video of 'interval shooting' also, a little side-project, something to have a go at when we're on our hols. I have another idea for a little timelapse video for this coming week (washing the bus, but I have to hope it gets really dirty first which doesn't happen if the temperature is below zero), otherwise I've had enough playing around for now and it's time to start stuffing my parka jacket with underpants and socks and packets of nuts (just in case someone on the plane has a serious nut allergy!). Sound on!

I wondered if there was storm damage info on t'other channel and came across this snippet:
"This is the nub of it. The GU was designed and built for narrow boats, but is being filled up with widebeams by people with little or no interest in boating. People whose only or main concern is to obtain accommodation as similar as possible to a house, but cheaper."

I'm confused," Guest" 's posts are being edited by @menagerieafloat or has she left and remaining posts are now Guest.

I mean proper anorak type "I like narrow boats" people. A night mare.

Too late with the hat ... we spotted the extra wide parting at the back Rog It's a solar panel for a sex machine. Shame it doesn't work in the dark and it's a bit cold up north for Al fresco bonking in the sunshine.

This didn't take long at all to put these clips from camera to computer to Windows 10 video-editor, and from there onto YouTube. Strangely the length of the videos matched the length of the music. Easy-peasy!
I wanted to make another video with sunrise/sunset/scenery photos during our holiday, but our holiday did not involve any trips into the countryside. This is sort of the thing I had in mind for a set of silly timelapses:
