My new VHF has a 30w loud hailer output.
So I will put a PA horn on the top of the wheelhouse.
Planning to play sounds from phone into the mic of the VHF. It seems to work quite well.
Been wondering about what to keep available.
Obviously the Woop Woop horn is the first one but are there any other suitable short clips which might come in handy ?
Bearing in mind the boat is an MI6 operations vessel with bullet proof windows.
I wondered about some Arnie quotes.
This might be a good one for a Thames lock where one is intending to turn around before the next lock and come back through.

Has anybody made a recording of themselves shouting "Get out of bed you lazy fucker!" and set it as their alarm clock sound?

I would imagine given the number of humans who inhabit the world and the prevalence of English as the dominant language in many different areas that someone will have done this.
I don't do alarms but I know quite a lot of people do as they are bound by some sort of time related lifestyle issue solution.

Novelty ringtones of any sort get old very quickly. But flatulence is almost always in vogue. Apparently Oliver Cromwell was a big fan of fart jokes.

How about a short burst of Ride of the Valkyries.

Our first year aboard we met a lovely bloke, but a bit of a character.
He had a PA system and had a range of animal noises, and other stuff that he would use instead of the horn ... very amusing.
You should hear @bedruthan 's horn ... that's a belter.

If you team up with Alexa, you have access to every sound you could wish for. Ask her to fart; she will go on for half an hour if you don't stop her. She has an incredible range of sounds which would put Le Petomaine to shame.

Apparently Le Petomaine had some sort of herniated bowel that allowed him to suck, then blow, rather than being lentil powered.
