My licence went down from last year, of course that's due to them charging me too much last year, in fact they could have been charging me too much for the last four years as I have never checked the meter to feet conversion, always assumed they knew what they were doing, daft now I know.
It is pretty amazing that you can have access to around 2000 miles of inland waterways year round (subject to stoppages) including free moorings for less than £20 a week.
That's definitely not a bad deal.
I disagree. Numerous canalside businesses only survive because of the money spent by gongoozlers, who come to see boats, not water. CRT should be paying us. After all, Lewis Hamilton doesn't have to pay to drive around Silverstone.
Foxy - have you attended any protests? Have you written to Mr Parry to show your displeasure? Have you attended any CRT meetings?
"Foxy - have you attended any protests? Have you written to Mr Parry to show your displeasure? Have you attended any CRT meetings?"
Nope to all of the above. Do you think anyone is the least bit interested in my opinions and what I have to say? Can you imagine licence-paying boaters glueing their palms to the glass doors in CRT headquarters?
Quiet minds cannot be perplexed or frightened but go on in fortune or misfortune at their own private pace, like a clock during a thunderstorm.
I hope that I never become famous and someone trawls my contributions on this site looking for the odd post which may be offensive.

JohnV: There are other drugs but I haven't found the side effects with Ramipril to be bad, it seems to just make my throat a bit more sensitive so things that might have just tickled my throat and make me want to clear it now make me cough.

loddon: The cough is the only one I get from ramipril, although the combinatins of drugs I am on has interesting effects.
