Letter sent. A couple of selfish farmers dug the 7714 (Ala-Viirre - Kannus) road up with a JCB to lay a pipe from ditch to ditch two weeks ago, then filled the hole in with gravel and just shovelled some ashphalt onto it - looks like they've had their cows tamp it down, a right sloppy mess and means all vehicles have to slow down to crawl bumpiley over this patch. A road works sign they put up vertically fell down a week and half ago, and they haven't been to lift that back into position. I nominate this pair for Cunts Corner. I've asked the city of Kokkola, in whose area this is, that are they aware of these two cowboys fucking a perfectly good road up? Quite honestly, it's a crime and the Police should be kicking their arses. I pointed out that drivers unaware of this uneven humpy 'thing' may well end up in the ditch unless they slow down from 50mph to 20, and what when it's dark and no-one can see this? Will Kokkola City take responsibility for accidents here? Other bus drivers have been moaning about it (but no action from them, lazy Finnish gits) - so you know it's the hard-working Brit that takes the shit to the fan! All very interesting, so are they cwdf staff members then? (I'm slightly bemused as to your opting to post this here).

This Magpie person doesn't seem to have many followers. Only 2 responses since the thread was re-opened. I dunno about you, and I'm not a member of other forums, but is it normal to spend so much time, posts, rounds of applause, etc, on the moderators of a forum? I not in the slightest bit interested in moderators, forum owners, or any of that rubbish. I'm interested in what the posters say.
Well I WAS, until all the excitement was supressed across the road.

Graham Davis: "I vote we lock this thread because it is tedious."

Kim-Jong-Un, Is a Wrong 'Un, And as his name rhymes with 'pong', Perhaps Andyberg will make a song?
We can laugh when we're here, As we're not in North Korea, Where everyone lives in fear, Of this pile of diarrhoea.
His hair style is a right flop, Makes him look like a caretaker's mop, But he's the bloke at the top, Respect him or... drop!
Why hasn't anyone taken out this tosser already?

Essential qualification
- do you like the editorial policy of Saga Magazine? if yes, press button on Stannah Stairlift and be lifted to the giddy mod platform height of 3 foot above all other posters.

I know this is a semi zombie thread but Magpie Patrick has contributed in the past ...... champion of the Somerset Coal Canal and owner of two boats and a nice chap I believe. My surprise is that I thought he was far too sensible to get involved.

Has everyone gone back to Canalworld? It's like a graveyard in here And when I opened Thunderboat this morning I was greeted by an ad from a Finnish car sales firm:

"but a Dutch Barge was moored where we had been" "I've never seen a Dutch barge on the southern Oxford. How did it get there?!" "....Well a narrow beam version of a Dutch barge......." Hello, Hello, Hello - has Eastern Europe Lady sold it at last?

And back to the Daily Mail whilst munching evening meal - so, now you have the plastic 5 Pound notes, I see!
"Just think we work all our lives for bits of plastic!!!!! Can you imagine what future generations will think? Also if plastic bags are damaging to the environment how come plastic money isn't? Will we have to pay 5p for each one?"
"Why are England so slow? Scotland and many other countries have had these notes for years!" (I haven't seen any plastic Scottish notes...)
"It's pretty obvious that if you put a note with a metal strip in the microwave oven, the metal is going to melt, burn and go on fire, which can damage the oven's magnetron. Why risk damaging the oven for a useless experiment?"
"i like to wipe my bum with the paper ones" (I think that was kris. tomsk has been asking!)
